'It was horrendous - but Ashley's learning!'
Monday 05 January 2009
It's the interview we're all dying to read, and now extracts from Cheryl Cole's exclusive warts-and-all chat with Vogue have been revealed!!
The gorgeous Girls Aloud singer will appear on the cover of the fashion mag's February edition and Closer reckons sales will go through the roof as Cheryl talks about her marriage crisis and the clinical depression that nearly ruined her life!
Speaking about the betrayal when Ashley was caught cheating in January 2008, Cheryl says: "It was horrendous."
But, standing by her man, the loyal 25-year-old explains: "Look, Ashley's young, and he's got a young mentality for his age anyway.
"He's learning. He has a beautiful soul, he's a really nice guy, and I'm not stupid, you know - I'm really not. I know what I'm doing."
Speaking about her rollercoaster life that saw her growing up on a notorious estate in Newcastle before rising to fame with Girls Aloud and finally winning the nation's hearts as a judge on The X Factor, Cheryl says:
"I've had enough knocks to know what the circumstances are, you know, and I'm happy. If other people aren't, that's their problem.
"That's what we were taught on the estate - you have to defend yourself."
She's so beautiful sometimes we forgot that Chezza's not one to mess with! We don't usually bother, but we reckon this might be one Vogue issue we'll have to splash out on!

He probably did it because blokes like him: - average looking but very famous and extremely rich, are the sort of blokes that slappers can't help throwing themselves at. And for blokes like him the temptation of being able to have your pick of women is too much to resist. Unfortunately some men (and some women) think with their groins and not with their brains. It beggars belief how he ever thought he would get away with it. Cheryl obviously thinks he's worth another chance, i just don't know how she'll ever be able to trust him again, and without trust a relationship is nothing.
