Lily: ' I didn't like taking cocaine'

Good old Lily Allen seems to take the title of her new album, It's Not Me, It's You, quite literally.
After airing her opinions about singer Katy Perry (who she doesn't seem to like very much), the 24-year-old has spoken out about the delicate subject of drug use.
"I felt like a bit of a lonely child, when everyone else was doing it and I wasn't. That's why I took cocaine when I didn't even like it."
But although Lily doesn't use the illegal substance herself anymore, she doesn't judge people who do - in fact, it sounds like she's rather bored by the whole drugs debate!
"I know lots of people who take cocaine three times a week and get up and go to work. I wish people wouldn't sensationalise it. Some people are just bad at taking drugs."
And in her mission to mouth off, Miss Allen doesn't even shy away from the controversial subject of religion.
She explained: "I don't like Christianity much. I was brought up in a Catholic school and they told me gays, adultery and drugs were bad.
"All my mum's friends were gay, my dad was having affairs and there were drugs in the house when I was young, so it was a bit cruel."
Drugs, religion, pop rivals - Lil really doesn't leave out any minefield, does she?

This is a girl who likes people to think she is strong minded and highly opinionated, yet she has just admitted she did drugs because everyone else was doing them. That doesn't sound much like a strong girl to me. She also makes out that everyone does drugs and that it's normal. I don't, i haven't and i would never do drugs. There are alot of people around that do, but it doesn't make me want to. Does that make me abnormal? No. It just makes me smart.

Yeh,spot on leanne. Sounds like she's blaming her parents for they way she's turned out too.
The people (probably other celebs) she's know's who do coke three times a week and get up for work (!) are probably up at 4 cos their brain cells are frazzled and buzzing and they can't sleep!!
If it wasn't for people like Lily and other celebs saying drugs are ok then most kids wouldn't try them,the only difference between the likes of Lily and kids of today is,when a celeb has had enough of killing their brain cells they can check into rehab for a couple of grand a week,the kids that look up to them are most likely hooked for life!
She needs to grow up and stop saying drugs are ok.....There NOT and never will be!!

This girl is more known for her spiteful outbursts than for her music, which is a shame! She even criticize Jordan but they're both ugly spiteful cows, miserable and boring to tears! Only female celebrities...
