Insecure Victoria Beckham had a long list of digital changes she wanted made to her sexy underwear photos.

Sprawled over the floor wearing skimpy undies and towering heels, Victoria Beckham is at her sultry best in her most revealing photo shoot ever.

And pals say that Posh, 34, was so thrilled with the end result of her new campaign for Emporio Armani lingerie she gave hubby David one of the framed photos as a sexy gift.

She worked out for several months before the shoot to hone her body, but insiders reveal that Posh – who once moaned that she looked “really awful naked” – only approved the photos after her extensive retouching demands were met. 

The source confirmed to Closer: “Victoria’s really pleased with the final photos, but would only give her sign-off after a lot of to-ing and fro-ing between her and the ad agency.

As with all A-listers, the pictures were airbrushed at her request – her ‘mummy tummy’ was digitally removed, her breasts were enhanced and shaded to soften the ‘stuck-on’ look of her implants, and her bony bits were smoothed.

“Victoria also wanted her skin smoothed and polished, her under-eye bags removed and her tummy button softened.”

And the source also reveals that Posh only agreed to the shoot on the condition she wouldn’t have to show her bare feet – she suffers from ugly bunions after years of heel-wearing – or her bum, which she famously believes is too flat.

The source said: “Victoria admitted that her feet and bum were far from her best assets and asked that they concentrate on her better ones!

“She got round the problem by posing in closed-toe heels.”

The star has complained about her figure in the past, saying: “I’ve got no bum at all. I have to stick it out and pretend.”

Her behind was also famously enhanced on the ad for her and David’s DVB fragrance in 2007.

The star also hates her stomach, and hardly ever shows it off in public. She once admitted: “I’ve got so much saggy skin on my stomach.”

Armani signed up Posh for an estimated £12million to advertise underwear after the success of David’s traffic-stopping campaign for the same label.

Ever the perfectionist, the mum-of-three went to great lengths to ensure she looked her absolute best before stripping off.

Former gym-phobe Posh started an exercise regime when the Beckhams moved to LA in 2007, but stepped up her running sessions when she was signed up for the campaign last October.

The source told Closer: “Victoria has a very critical eye and wouldn’t be happy for the world to see her looking anything less than amazing.

“She hates working out – running even more so – but she was so nervous in the build-up to the shoot that she exercised her butt off and even did 200 stomach crunches a day.

“She has also been following a protein-rich diet with lots of antioxidant greens and berries to improve her skin – she’d rather not have to rely on Botox as she thinks it makes people’s skin look shiny.”

Victoria is now hoping that the sexy shots will help remind her football star husband, 33, what he is missing during his three-month stint at AC Milan in Italy.

The source revealed: “Victoria presented David with one of the framed pictures last weekend. She says it’s for his
bedside table when she’s not with him in Milan! He is super- proud of his sexy wife.”

And despite the airbrushing demands, sources say Posh has a positive body-image at the moment. The source said: “Victoria feels better about her body after hating it for so long – this photo shoot is a major breakthrough for her.”

Well she hasn't toned up a great deal then and put on weight as she'd have us all believe!! I knew there was some airbrushing due to the fact she had her belly out,she never gets it out even on the beach as she has stretch marks,and it was abit sus as the pic's were black and white,but according to the pics then the only thing thats her own is her face!!
And giving David a pic like that was cruel,its like saying,look what you could have won!!!
How can she feel better about her body when she's airbrushed most of it?!
Most girls would love to have a slimmer body (stretch marks or not ) i think she still has a long way to go to get over her body issues!

I say good for her, I would airbrush my photos if I could. And I'm sure she has issues with her body as the rest of us do, its not only heavier girls that feel it, slim girls have issues too.

If she is so insecure, why on earth even contemplate modelling in her underwear, lets face it, it's not like she needs the money.
I struggle to sympathise when she has the world at her feet, if her biggest problem is not to show her bare feet because she suffers from ugly bunions and her flat bum, well the rest of us may has well lock our in our homes and never walk out again.
Estimated 12 million, not bad when the world is in recession!

my word, armani must be off his nut to pay her that kind of money. Good luck to her, but she's far from a supermodel and has been airbrushed to the nines - it barely even looks like her!

I have to say good on her for posing in her undies - she looks awesome whether she's been airbrushed or not! She's going to get slated & accused over her looks whether it's her own body or not because of the press she's had. If the pics have been airbrushed, then, so wot?! If I was appearin in mags all over the world and I had the opportunity to look perfect in them, whether it b by airbrushing, then so b it!! Ppl r so quick 2 slate celebrities but we have no idea wot it's like to be in their shoes and to cope with fame such as they do, including dealing with the vanity side (ie being photographed every minute of the day). If that was me, I'd want 2 look my best every second as well as any other celeb...xxx

For some inexplicable reason whatever she does she gets slated for - I think she looks fantastic here and she's always immaculate. I have no idea why people slate her she's done nothing to harm anyone as far as I know - there are worse people in the world than Victoria Beckham - her only crime I fear was to marry the lovely David - It's not like she was poor when she met him - she was probably wealthier than he was at that time so it really comes down to the green eyed monster doesn't?
