Jack will spend wedding night with Jade

We are pleased to report that Jack Tweed's curfew conditions have been changed so he can spend the evening (and night) with Jade following their wedding reception.

The Ministry of Justice has extended the 21-year-old's curfew until 3pm the following day, so the newly-weds will be able to enjoy their first night as husband and wife together.

Justice Secretary Jack Straw made the decision, and Jade is said to be 'absolutely thrilled'.

A spokesman said: "The NOMS chief operating officer, in dicussion with the governor of the prison, has determined that this is an exceptional case and Mr Tweed will be allowed to remain at the reception and that address until 3pm the day after the wedding."

Jack normally has to abide by a strict 7pm curfew, so it looked like he would have to leave his new wife shortly after their wedding ceremony.

Yes it is lovely,i hope the have a wonderful day and special night together.

Can't help but wonder though how many other offenders in a the same situation will argue the fact that if it can be done for them,then why not others!

Its still very nice of them to have done it though,hats off to um!!

I am happy that Jade's wedding will be even more special for her now, especially since she has such limited time left, but generally I think exceptions like these shouldn't be made for celebs. If this was a 'normal' couple it wouldn't have happened.

ahhh i am so happy for jade and jack, she has longed for this weddin for a while now and to spend their first night together as husband and wife will be great, some people do have a heart, i wish them all the best on the weddin day

Agree with Clarabella. When i read the initial story earlier i thought that it would be awful spending your wedding night alone but even more so if , god forbid, you were in Jades shoes. But law is law no matter who you are. I am so pleased for Jade and her family that her dying wish will come true, but sincerely hope that letting Jack off with his curfew doesn't have a negative backlash and every petty criminal with a curfew expecting to be allowed the same. None the less, Many congrats Jade.
