It's no secret that Mr Cowell loves himself a little bit!
But now the TV supremo has announced that he intends to return to our telly screens after his death - in the future when doctors will have figured out how to revive the dead!
Simon intends to be frozen after his passing away, as he revealed at a private dinner with prime minister Gordon Brown and TV colleague Piers Morgan.
'I’ve decided to have myself frozen when I die.', he said. 'You know, cryogenics.
'Medical science is bound to work out a way of bringing us back to life in the next century or so, and I want to be available when they do. I'd be doing the nation an invaluable service.'
We bet a thousand X Factor rejects would beg to differ!

haha doesnt he think that in the next century no one will know who he is??
& i dont think scientists should be able to bring people back from the dead..its not right. everything happens for a reason.. & if someone that is dead is brought back to life it could mess things up!!

He has to be joking. If that was possible in the future, Simon's brain would be way behind, anyway, and if he died an old man, that' what he'd be in his next life - pointless!
