Amy's US visa ban

Amy Winehouse’s plans for a massive American comeback were foiled last night after she was denied a visa.
The Rehab singer has been rejected access to the US and will not appear at next month’s huge Coachella festival after she was charged with common assault last week.
After returning from a prolonged stay in the Caribbean recently, Amy had been lined up to headline alongside The Killers and Paul McCartney at the esteemed California gig.
A source close to the 25-year-old claims: “Amy is absolutely gutted. She was looking forward to getting back on stage and this was going to be one of the biggest shows of her life.
“It’s a real setback after she has been getting clean from drugs over in Barbados” reports the Daily Mirror.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Amy has had trouble with getting into the US. She was due at last year’s Grammys but had trouble convincing officials she was off drugs and her papers did not arrive on time!
Fans can look forward to Wino's comeback performance at Island Records' 50th anniversary bash in May 2009, however.

well.. if shes getting bk with blake then she wont be going to america anytime soon. he'll get her bk into drugs & she wont be concentratin on her music

How do we know its not the other way round? She was into drugs and alcohol long before she got together with him. They are just bad for each other full stop.

Yeh i agree. People can't blame Blake for Amy's bad way's,she has to take full responsibility herself!
Its a shame she won't be able to go to the states though,seeing as she's been getting clean for months.
If Amy can't get into the states then i think its only fair that Cheryl Cole wont be able to either,seeing as she's been done for assault also!
Must say though i'm looking forward to Amy's comeback!

i just cant understand the best way to stop drugs is the word no and she has a lot going for her and all she does it get drunk and does drugs. get over ya aelf amy and concentrate on ur career. she dosent know how many people would love to be in her shoes and this is the example she gives us. i dont like her and its not cos of the drugs well not got owt to do wiv anyone why i dont like her. i just dont asgree wiv the way she is
