Kerry: I'm divorcing Mark

Kerry Katona has confirmed she is divorcing her husband Mark Croft.

The ex-Atomic Kitten star announced the split on Facebook yesterday following a furious bust-up.

Footage filmed for her new MTV show yesterday captured the emotional moment Kerry called her publicist to confirm she is ending her relationship.

She said: “I’ve got a lawyer involved. Me and Mark are getting a divorce. We really are.

“All I can say was, you were all f****** right. I’ve just told me mum and please don’t say ‘I told you so.’ It’s the last thing I need to hear.”

The news comes after Kerry changed her status to ‘single’ after ex-cabbie Mark sped off from the family home after the row.

Hours before Kerry had posted a series of bizarre messages on the social networking site.

She first sparked concern at about 6.30pm on Wednesday when she posted a status update which read: 'Kerry really never thought I would have to go through this again.'

A flurry of messages of support and concern followed, leading Kerry to update her status again around 7.30pm to say: 'Kerry sorry didn't mean to cause a fuss, just having a bad day!! But thank you for your support xxx'

She then she updated it again to read: 'Kerry just having a s***y day like EVERYONE does, now and again!!! Was not meant to cause a fuss!!'

Kerry wed Mark on Valentine’s Day 2007.

The couple have two children together, Heidi, 2, and Max, 10 months, and Kerry has two other children from her first marriage, Molly, 7, and Lilly-Sue, 6.

Their divorce will be Kerry’s second in five years having separated with first hubby Brian McFadden in 2005.

well.. in my opinion its about time she got rid of him. feel sorry for her though, she never seems to have much luck does she.

Well i'd have kicked the sponging git out long ago!
She can do so much better,he'l bleed her dry with what bit of money she's got left!

Kerry deserves so much better than him! She should keep strong because it won't be easy but it will be worth it.

HOPE SHE STAYS STRONG AND DONT TAKE BACK THAT CONTROLING PARASITE,SHE DOES HAVE THE SURPORT OF HER MAM SUE THIS TIME,HE DID'NT LIKE THAT REUION MUCH DID HE!!

Thank God shes seen the light. She just needs to be with a good network of support and people who genuinely care about her and she should bounce back but i do feel sorry for her.

Yeah, i know. Maybe it's the cynic in me thinking badly of an unfortunate situation. I obviously don't know them personally, but to me the pair of them come across as completely untrustworthy.

Publicity stunt or not, they will not divorce. Be serious, she doesn/t have enough respect for herself to boot him out of her life and he is a sponging, uneducated, scruffy parasite.
