'I can see why people think I'm Katie Holmes'

Silly... no, sorry, Lily Allen has once again managed to put a smile on our faces (no pun intended) with one of her trademark outlandish statements!

The singer claims that one of the difficulties she faces in breaking the American market is that she gets mistaken for Katie Holmes all the time!

Lily was reportedly overheard telling a friend: "I can see it myself but it still hurt that no one had any idea who I actually was, you know."

Um... Can you see the likeness or should the American public go to Specsavers, pronto? And have you ever been mistaken for a celebrity?

they do look alike but i wouldnt mistake them for eachother either. i would probebly have my thoughts about her but wouldnt actually go up to her and ask her if she is lilly allen . :)

Lily Allen is fat and gobby and ugly while Katie Holmes seems like a very nice person with manners and respect for others.
