Madonna and Gwyneth enjoy a girls night out

BFFs Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow enjoyed the ultimate girls night out as they attended the swanky New York screening and dinner of Valentino: The Last Emperor, hosted by, er, Valentino.
Claire Danes and Anne Hathaway joined the fun as they rubbed shoulders with some serious A-List heavy weights: Anna Wintour, Carolina Herrera and Agyness Deyn all attended the glitzy viewing of the fashion documentary.
Madge and Gwyn were sat at a table with the designer's nearest and dearest, happily chatting away about fashion icons and family.
"How's my little Moses?" Valentino's partner Giancarlo Giammetti asked Gwyneth. "He's very chatty. So, he's entering that irresistible stage," the actress gushed.
The evening - and the film - were regarded an incredible success, but we wonder: with all these fashion legends in one place, did no one point out Valentino's ridiculously bright fake tan???

I know a lot of people dont like her but i think she looks great even if she has had help. If a man had her success whichever way he had achieved it he would be applauded and looked up to but when its a woman she is often ridiculed, labelled a bitch and criticised. Im not a die hard fan but I do like her and she must have something even if its not a great voice otherwise she wouldnt be where she is today.

shes discusting. it makes me feel sick that she prances around in a leotard at her age. its just gross. and i would say the same about a man doin it at her age

what a man prancing around in a leotard lol haha. at the end of the day yes i agree that people should age gracefully and dress a little more appropriately but lets not forget she is an entertainer and if she still has it in her why shouldnt she do it. No-one bats an eyelid when tina turner is up on stage in a leotard or mini skirt and shes older than madge.

What is it about Madonna? She can't sing, dance and she is not exactly gorgeous????
I really think she should step down now she looks ridiculous performing the way she does at her age! Although I would not say no to a figure like hers when im in my 50's lol!
