Mum talks about the anguish of losing Jade
Monday 30 March 2009
Tragic Jade Goody's mum Jackiey has spoken for the first time about the pain of losing her daughter to cancer.
The devastated 50-year-old has told how she is struggling to hold the family together in the run-up to her Jade's funeral this Saturday.
She said: "I am being a husband and a mother at the moment because Jack is too weak."
According to Jackiey, the plans for the funeral are all in place now, with four giant screens being erected outside the church and a long procession.
But the grief-stricken grandmother has decided against speaking at the burial.
"All the readers have been chosen, but I can tell you this, I will not be one of them," she said, "I've been so strong through all this, but I would just break down if I had to read."
Jade's two sons, Bobby, five, and Freddie, four, won't be attending the funeral. Their biological father, Jeff Brazier, wants the boys to remember Jade as "the sparkly and bright woman she was" and he will be taking them to Austria for some "peaceful family time."
It has been reported that Jade's family have banned glamour model Jordan from attending the ceremony, after she criticised Jade's decision to sell interviews about her cancer battle.
Jade forgave her before she passed away, and Jordan had been hinting that she wanted to pay her respect at the funeral, but it looks like she won't be welcome.
Other big names expected to attend are Kerry Katona, the Sugababes and Tv's Richard and Judy. Bizarrely, it has been reported that Michael Jackson is also planning to be at the service.
Jacko, who called Jade during her final days to leave a message of support, is said to have vowed to do everything he can to support the family and to try his best to attend the funeral on Saturday.

RE: Mum talks about the anguish of losing Jade
I realy feel for Jackiey it's hard to hold it together when inside your worlds falling apart, she's been so strong for the boys, for Jack, for Jade,Saturday is about saying goodbye ,you dont have to be strong any more Jackiey allow yourself to greive. Its sad that the boys wont be at Jades funeral,i understand that Jeff is protecting his sons but he could take them to the cemetry when everyone has gone, thats what i did with my little girl when my mam died, she needed to say goodbye she was only 7 at the time but it was important to her to be able to say tara nana i love you and to give flowers, children are more awear about whats going on than we give them credit for,it's just a shame thay cant do that for themselfs and for Jade.As for Jordan the less said the better. My thoughts are with Jades family and friends R.I.P. Jade x x x

Good glad Jordan is banned her comments were inappropriate even if Jade did forgive, besides is Jades day and that 'vile' self centred woman always has a way of making publicity for herself no matter what she is incapable of keeping anything on a personal level. My thoughts will be with Jackiey and the rest of the family on this sad day.

I feel for the whole family, especially Bobby and Freddie, those poor little boy's must be so confused!
I hope the "celebs" that are attending the funeral are doing so to say their goodbye's to Jade and not to gain a little front page publicity!!
As for Jordan, why did she ask to go?...she said some horrible things about Jade, the hypocript (sorry for spelling)!! Jade might have forgave, but i'm with the family on this one,Jordan realises how popular Jade was and know's where there's celeb's there will be paps!!
