RE: Coleen: Too posh to push?
i like Coleen too but this is the most natural think a woman has to go through, unless there is problems with the baby why do that to yourself and the baby!!

RE: Coleen: Too posh to push?
More like too jumping on the too posh to push bandwagon!....How selfish to put Wayne's job before the health of their baby, its disgusting, she shouldn't be allowed to do it unless its for health reasons!
Most blokes are allowed time off from work for the birth of their kids anyway, there obviously only thinking of money! And Wayne's obviously more interested in kicking a ball round a pitch, than the natural birth of his baby!

RE: Coleen: Too posh to push?
i do like her but a c section is a major operation and not to be gone into lightly ,i've never understood anyone wonting one it' painful for one,her baby's health should be her prioritie not a football game, sort yourselfs out.

RE: Coleen: Too posh to push?
i think that wayne could miss a few matches for the sake of his first childs natural birth. colleen thinking of having a c-section a month early is not going to be good for the baby, they must be thinking of all the money that theyll lose if he doesnt play, the babys health shoud be most important.

RE: Coleen: Too posh to push?
im sure he can take the time off colleen should put her foot down and tell him that the babys health is more important than his football im sure he can spare the time i had 2 c sections but mine wasnt by choice
if she didnt want to go through the pain she shouldnt of got pregnant i agree shes jumping on the posh bandwagon its not safe to have the baby that early by choice

RE: Coleen: Too posh to push?
if she is tinkin of havin her baby a month early just so wayne won't miss it then shes not as intelligent as people make her out to be, she must realise that deliverin that early could seriously harm d baby, he/ she wil come wen they r ready.

RE: Coleen: Too posh to push?
There are many partners that dont get to be with the wife/girlfriend when they give birth ......wayne will only miss a football game . she should think herself lucky hes not in iraq or afganistan ...and she should give birth natural at least she can say she has done it .unlike victoria beckham lol

RE: Coleen: Too posh to push?
It was due to the positive publicity given to c-sections by celebs that I got absolutely no sympathy during the agony after my c-section. The common misconception is that this operation is easier than natural birth, seemingly pain free and convenient, this could not be further from the truth. I had a c-section due to breech presentation, the spinal anaesthetic took 7 attempts to work, the birth was fast but left me with an infection and the agony of the first few weeks after birth still haunts me to this day. Three years after the c-section I gave birth to my second child naturally and without any pain relief. The three day labour and final fast delivery of my baby was hard work and full of hope and joy; ultimately I had given birth to my baby, not had it removed. Babies are a joy, not a problem to be solved. They don't fit into your life, that's the whole point of them, they make your life something more.

RE: Coleen: Too posh to push?
I do not agree with anyone having c-section unless its for you or your babies health and dont think it should be an option in normal circumstances to anyone no matter how much money they have, i had a c-section as my baby was breech and they couldnt move her as i had a bad reaction to the ecv injection, everything went well and was given plenty of help and more importantly pain relief in the hospital and for at home. i realise some people have had bad experiences with c-sections (i got told lots of horror stories!!!) but also i have to say that it was not as bad i as i expected, you do feel sore, wobbly and it isnt nice having a scar but if all goes well with the procedure i think having a good attitude to the recovery and being sensible makes a lot of difference, my baby girl is 13 weeks old now and my tum is scarred but is kinda getting back to normal but she is worth it all (got back to my aerobics class after 7 weeks i loved every minute of it too) not every c section ends in a horror story but it is still a major op and why have it if you dont need it!

RE: Coleen: Too posh to push?
Im sorry but she is a Tw@t. I cant believe that she would choose to have a c section as a convenience. Many people seem to think a c section is easier than a natural birth which is bull. I had to have a emergency section after 15 hours of labor and i can tell you its not plesent. What id give to be able to go back and have a natural birth. In the hours after you have your baby should be bonding time, but after you have a section you cant get out of bed you rely on the nurses to give/feed your baby. The pain after wards is unbearable there's only so much morphine you can have.
You cant cough sneeze or laugh for the fear of your stitches popping. The first week is hell trying to sleep/move.Cant put your own socks on (but i suppose shed have people to do that for her anyways). And what if she gets an infection?they can be very nasty. I cant believe someone would willingly get a section to suit a job.
Surely that's not going to do the baby any good being born a month premature all to suit a footie match.
