Madonna takes a fall...

Madonna spent the weekend nursing minor injuries and, perhaps, a bruised ego after falling from a horse in the Hamptons on Saturday afternoon.

The mum-of-three had been visiting her pal, celebrity photographer Steven Klein, at his farmhouse in New York State when the accident happened.

Her shocked on-off-on again(?) lover Jesus Luz and a group of friends watched in horror as the Material Girl tumbled from the horse while practicing jumps.

They immediately called an ambulance, which took the shaken star to the nearby Southampton Hospital.

Angry Madge blamed the paparazzi for the accident. Her spokeswoman claimed a photographer ‘jumped out of the bushes’ and startled the horse.

This isn’t the first time she’s been thrown from a horse either. An accident at her Wiltshire home on her 47th birthday left her with several broken bones and a fear of saddling up again.

Lucky Madonna only suffered cuts and bruises this time around. And we doubt she’ll be complaining while her hunky toyboy Jesus Luz, 22, is around to kiss them better. Jealous, us?

Should Madonna dust herself down and get back on a horse again? Or should she give up now she’s no longer playing the role of English country wife?

haha i think she should stop with the horse riding. shes not gettin any younger & one day she might break a leg or something.

& since when has she been seein that jesus luz? have i missed something? & also, why would he want to see her, yeah she might be a nice woman & all that, but shes old enough to be his mother!

I think good on her. Racheal, it will be very sad if you dont have her get up and go as one day you will be her age and hopefully not over the hill either, just at the top with a view to all sides.

Well to be fair, Gill747, the royals tend to manage to stay mounted apart from Zara who should be nicer to Jordan... horsey people should stick up for each other dont you think?
