Charl vows to work things out with Gav

After weeks of screaming rows and growing tension at home, Charlotte Church and boyfriend Gavin Henson are trying to patch up their relationship.
Things have become so bad in recent weeks that pals say rugby star Gav has threatened to leave more than once.
But after a rare night out last week in Bridgend, near Cardiff, the couple seemed to be back on speaking terms – smiling and joking over a bottle of wine at a local restaurant.
Pals now hope that they’re working through their differences. A friend told Closer: “Their household has been extremely tense for the last few weeks. If they weren’t rowing, they’ve been pretty much silent.”
Gavin recently suffered an injury at rugby, so he is unable to go on this summer’s Lions’ tour of South Africa. Pals say he’s been taking his frustration out on Charlotte, who’s also fuming after he was cautioned last month for a drunken brawl in Cardiff in February.
Tension peaked on a recent weekend when Charl, 23, heard Gav, 27, organising a lads’ night out, despite the fact that she was planning some family time.
A source said: “Charlotte wanted to have a weekend at home and invite their families over. But when she told Gav, he just rolled his eyes and walked away.
“Charl started laying into him, saying he needed to make an effort. There was a massive row and Gav told her he feels trapped. Charl was screaming that she was sick of his moods.”
The source said Gav started packing his bags and threatened to leave. He later calmed down, but things are still strained between them.
Our source said: “Gav’s been desperate for some personal space, especially with his career problems to worry about as well, but he lost his resolve to walk out when he saw how upset Charlotte was.
“But he did tell her that she had to ask her family to give them ‘alone time’ for the next few weeks. Charl agreed – she’s ready to do whatever it takes to save the relationship.
“He said he’d also like some time away, and is really keen to do a big holiday with his mates.”
But Charl told Gavin he needs to make more effort with her, and she also thinks a holiday with their children, Ruby, 18 months, and Dexter, three months, will help the situation.
The source said: “Gavin is beginning to realise how selfishly he’s been acting. Things are still tense, but they both know things won’t improve if they don’t talk.
“Hopefully this rocky patch is behind them, and they can begin to work out some of their issues without separating.”

PERSONAL SPACE,is he for real ? when you sign up for children you wave goodbuy to so called "personal space",there every where,people who have children will know this line "can't even pee in peace"so grow some balls Gavin and be a father after all we dont hear Charlotte complaining do we.
And seperate holidays when your in a relationship_the beginng of the end i know people who've tryed it,there not together anymore you have a family your suposed to go on holiday with them,thay wont be baby's for ever enjoy them while you can !!

he really is selfish isnt he!
he should be tryin to work things out with her, not wantin to go on holiday with his mates. he should spend time with charlotte and thier children. & charlottes idea of goin on a FAMILY holiday is great, it would really help him calm down & spendin time with the kids will be good for him...
but what do i kno? i havent got any kids.. i'm only 17 :)

It's a difficult time when you have kids - especially when you are both so young. At 18, my first husband left me at home with a six week old as he 'couldn't cope' with being a new dad. Luckily for my Daughter I didn't have the same attitude. I now have a new, lovely Hubby and we are exepcting our first together. I know there will be tough times ahead but we are strong enough to work through it all - I hope!!
We always have a family holiday together but then we also have time on our own and one weekend away with our friends - hubby plays golf with his friends and I go shopping with mine!
I understand Charlotte wanting to be a family and Gavin wanting his time but it all seems to the excess. It's all about compromise. just because you become parents it doesn't mean you stop being your own person.
I hope they work it out as they both seem very nice, devoted to each other and good parents to the children. Hopefully all this trouble now will stand them in good stead for the future. Good luck to them!!

yer hes selfish lottie needs to put her foot down he has a family all the mates thing he gave it up when he was making a family the selfish pig sorry but im not even a mum yet but family first. and i agree with TAMARA

Henson is a complete and utter TWONK. He's upset about not going to South Africa, total rubbish he wouldn't have gone anyway he's NOT GOOD ENOUGH they left better than him out of the squad.
The truth is he wants to be able to go out and get drunk and act like a spoilt little brat whenever he wants. WELL YOU CAN'T so get over it GROW UP and handle your responsibilities like a MAN not a little boy.
