Well, here’s a belittling choice of words if ever we heard any!
Premier League boss Harry Redknapp has branded the wives and girlfriends of footballers “busy cows".
The 62-year-old football supremo believes the WAGs need to keep their noses out of their fellas’ careers – blasting the current crop of wives and girlfriends for their ‘busy’ and public lives.
In comparison, the Tottenham Hotspur hero said he felt he had won the Lottery with his wife Sandra revealing the secret success to their happy marriage – she never goes to matches!
Harry isn’t the first manager to take on the might of the WAGs – England boss Fabio Capello ordered a pre-match ban on players' partners, including Posh, after they were blamed for distracting the team at the 2006 World Cup!
Mr Redknapp said of Vicky B and the rest of the fake tanned bunch: “They’re busy cows! I don’t like it. I’ve got no time for it.
“I think it’s important for any footballer to have a good woman behind him.”
What are you trying to say Harry? If your girlfriend or wife is busy, then she isn’t a very good wife or girlfriend at all?
It seems the 'poor' WAGs can't win: they used to get it in the neck for being mere arm candy accused of splashing their partners' cash, now they get criticised for building their own careers.
How do you prefer your WAGs? Orange-skinned, hair-extensioned and always shopping, or column-writing, fashion-designing and singing like Posh and Chezza?

Obviosuly he expects the women to just follow their husbands and look after the kids, what a moron, I cant stand ppl like him!

I think Harry has been fair. Too many clubs - Spurs especially - have been made a laughing stock by interfering WAGS. The obvious choice is obviously Man United, who only let Beckham go to Madrid because he'd allowed his private life to overtake the crux of career. And where he is he now? Trying desperately to get out of his comedy move to Galaxy, which was only to further his media pursuits anyway. I
Harry isn't really suggesting wives can't have their own careers - but he is suggesting they be supportive without being interfering in matters they know about. It doesn't extend to his daughter in law but Louise had her own career and never got involved with Jamie's. Although I think Harry should perhaps have a word with his disgracefully smug nephew Frank Lampard who is never exactly conservative with his girls and his big fat mouth.

I suppose he's got a point really. Most of the wags turn up to matches like its the front row seats of London fashion week,all eye's are on them! I bet half of them dont even know the off side rule,nevermind what team their bloke plays for! ; )
I think what he means is,he would prefare the wags to leave the men to do their job,& not have um doing other jobs on the side,and being paped here there and everywhere,when they should be consentrating on their career!
It's as though its not about the game anymore,and more about who can be the face of this/that,who's wife's got the biggest ring/car etc!
