Jack Tweed released from jail

Jack Tweed has been released from prison, having served half of his 12-week sentence.

The Celebrity Big Brother star and widower of Jade Goody was jailed for attacking and threatening a taxi driver, after he asked Jack to pay his fare in advance.

Judges who sentenced the star reported that they would have given him a more extreme sentence, if not for his "personal circumstances".

Jack had a fairly tumultous time in jail, having been bullied by inmates to such an extent that he was put into a hospital ward.

He was released from Edmunds Hill Prison in Suffolk this morning, and was picked up by his mother Mary and best friend Mark.

Friends of the 21-year-old told reporters that they were set on hiring a 'party bus' to take Jack for a night out on the town following his release.

Hopefully this marks a fresh start for the troubled reality TV star.

I think he should stay out of the limelight, concentrate on getting his life in order and set a good example to jades boys by not hiding under jades legacy and milking it

i agree with lovingmum. & i tink it's not a very good idea for his friends to take him out for a night for a few reasons.. 1. his wifes just died. 2. he's just got out of prison & if he has too much alcohol, he could do something silly & end up back in prison! & 3. people will be comin up to him askin question about jade, his life, prison.. blah blah blah & he might not be ready for it!

anyway.. i wish him luck with his life & jade's children & jeff :)

I'm glad he's out,i just hope he stays out of trouble for the sake of Jade's boys who idolise him,he also needs to take a step back and think about what he wont's to do with his life!

Let's hope he stays out of trouble and gets his life sorted out, if for no other reason than Jade would want him to! Her sons idolise him and Jade wanted him to be a part of their lives forever, even Jeff their father is on board with him spending time with the kids!
Don't let them down Jack, I'm sure some idiots are going to come up to you and try to bait you or make comments about Jade that will hurt you - sadly even now some still have to make vicious comments!! Please get some anger management help so you don't react, but most of all please don't do anything else to land you back in jail because next time there'll be no Jade to save you from being your own worst enemy!

Let's hope his last visit to prison was his last and he doesn't do anything so stupid again!
