'Jade doesn't have to be scared I'm alone now!'

Thursday 11 June 2009

After the rather surprising news that Jade Goody's mother has set up home with a toyboy lover in Tenerife broke yesterday, Jackiey Budden was quick to speak out about her whirlwind romance and her new life.

In an interview with The Sun, the 51-year-old explained why she is leaving Britain behind to be with a man 15 years her junior - despite having lived as a lesbian for the past 25 years!

"I know Jade would be as surprised as anyone that I've found happiness with a man - but she always said, 'Man or woman, I want you to be happy'." Jackiey told the newspaper. "She was always scared I'd be alone - she doesn't need to be scared now."

Tragic Jade's mother escaped to sunny Tenerife after her daughter's death nearly led her to having a nervous breakdown. There she met divorced dad-of-two, Jason, who works at a beachfront pub, and the pair soon became friends.

Jackiey revealed how the couple used to sleep in the same bed for weeks after going clubbing together before their friendship turned sexual.

"It was a massive step for me and I was petrified - I hadn't slept with a man for years. But this has been fun, I feel contented and secure. I feel safe and that's down to Jason."

Jackiey soon moved in with the 36-year-old ex-soldier - and has no imminent plans to return to the UK. She denies that living abroad will destroy her relationship with her two grandsons, Bobbie and Freddy, who are staying with their biological dad, TV presenter Jeff Brazier.

"I got an open ticket here and now I want to stay," she said. "Jade said before she died I had to look after the boys and I'm going to. Being here will not stop that."

She gushed: "The age difference, my past, it means nothing. We've found something so special. It's the purest love I've ever known. I know I've found someone I can grow old with."

Good for her! Like Jade said, man, woman as long as she's happy leave her be!
Life goes on i'm afraid, what's she supposed to do? stay single for the rest of her life!...and never have a relastionship or go anywhere just incase the kids might need her! They have two dads, and its not like she's moving to the moon! Jade would be happy for her,& as for the grankids,i'm sure they'l be visiting her lots, likewise she will them!
You only get one shot at life, and no one know's when your times up,Jade proved that, whatever makes you happy, then go for it,life's to short to have regrets!

You are supposed to journalists, with some command of the English language. Between you can you perhaps rustle up a dictionary and look up the word 'celebrity' and stop running stories about chavs and low lifes with no claim to fame or discernible talent

Bighockeychick, I think you will find that a lot of people quite like to read about Jade's family - it's nice to see that they have found some happiness after losing their daughter/wife. Funny you should call other people 'low lives' when you yourself are just plain rude. If you don't like it, don't read it!
