They should all be enjoying the countdown to their big days this summer, but these celebs have their minds on other  stressful matters

Rachel Stevens left 'shaken' after mugging

With her wedding to actor Alex Bourne just two months away, former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens was left devastated when her engagement ring was stolen by three muggers on her north London doorstep.

During the attack, she also had to hand over a Rolex watch and a necklace, a haul worth tens of thousands of pounds. And pals say the robbery has left her so “shaken” that it’s taken the shine off the wedding preparations.

When she stepped out last week, a miserable-looking Rachel, 31, was wearing a simple band in place of her diamond engagement ring.

But pals say Rachel and actor Alex, who got engaged a year ago, have vowed not to let the attack spoil their big day. And the Strictly Come Dancing star is still working hard to shed a stone in time for the wedding, which is due to take place on 2 August.

The singer started a “bride diet” and exercise regime after she put on a few pounds earlier this year. She has now dropped to just under 8st – a healthy weight for her 5ft 2 height.

A pal said: “Rachel’s being careful with her diet and is determined not to put on any weight around her tummy. Her dress is ready and it fits her perfectly around her waist. She’s drinking lots of water and staying away from processed food.”

Rachel has also been working hard with daily gym workouts, according to friends. The singer recently said her diet means eating “little but often” and trying to stay away from anything fatty.

She said: “I won’t deprive myself of anything – I’ll eat what I want, but in small portions – little and often. I just won’t eat fried or stodgy food.”

The star also told Closer: “I’m desperate to stay a size 6 for my big summer wedding.”

Carly's holiday 'tum' panic

She’s known for her washboard stomach and killer curves, but Carly Zucker was devastated when she gained 5lbs on a girlie holiday to Las Vegas two weeks ago. Carly, 25, has now embarked on a last-ditch exercise regime in a desperate bid to lose the weight for her wedding this summer.

A source said: “Carly spent her week with the girls boozing and eating carbohydrates and processed foods. Her normally healthy diet went to pot. She gained 5lbs and was horrified to see holiday photos. She still has an incredible figure but she wasn’t happy with pictures of her tum.”

And although 5ft 6 Carly is a personal trainer, she’s now employed her own fitness expert to help her ditch the holiday bloat. Carly, who’s engaged to Chelsea footballer Joe Cole, 27, is on a 14-day programme of Pilates, aerobic workouts to burn fat, and abs exercises.

The source said: “Carly has employed a personal trainer who specialises in Hollywood bodies. They’re working out on a daily basis. She doesn’t believe in diets, but she’s cut out processed foods. She’s determined to get her abs back in time for the wedding and her honeymoon.”

Carly’s weight has fluctuated over the years. Two years ago, she sparked concern when she was pictured looking gaunt and emaciated, but she eventually regained her size 8 curves.

Danielle in 'shock' over mother's arrest

Danielle Bux’s upcoming wedding preparations to ex-footballer Gary Lineker have been overshadowed by the arrest of her mum for shoplifting – her second arrest this year. And pals say that Danielle, 29, is so “shocked” and “concerned” that she’s making her mum her number one priority.

Jobless Kim Lewis, 48, was held with boyfriend Johnny Bateman, 52, in a police raid on their home last week. Kim was also arrested for shoplifting from a B&Q store in April – and was evicted from her three-bedroom semi-detached Cardiff home after failing to keep up with mortgage repayments.

La Senza model Danielle is set to marry Gary, 48, who’s worth an estimated £30million, in an intimate wedding in July in the Italian resort of Portofino – where Coleen and Wayne Rooney tied the knot last year. Danielle has been dating the footie legend for 18 months.

But although Danielle’s struggling to cope with her mum’s arrest, at least the 5ft 6 model doesn’t have to worry about losing weight in the run-up to her big day.

Danielle told Closer: “I’ve just been eating healthily and not boozing. I don’t deprive myself. I always have a big breakfast and pasta for lunch, but then I cut out carbs in the evening. Often I’ll just have a bowl of Coco Pops for dinner.”

She also confessed that while she hates the gym, she does enjoy daily exercise, saying: “I walk my dog twice a day and running after my seven-year-old daughter Ella is the best exercise you can get.”
