The Beckhams go house hunting

Monday 29 June 2009
Their whirlwind lives drive them to various locations all over the globe, but today it has been revealed that the Beckhams are house-hunting back on home soil!

David and Vic have told estate agents to make a list of pads in London big enough for them and their brood.

They will not sell their Hertfordshire mansion (known as Beckingham Palace) but want a second home for when footie ace Becks ends the US Major League season with LA Galaxy in November.

They are also on the look out for schools for sons Brooklyn, ten, Romeo, six, and four-year-old Cruz.

A family pal told The Sun: “Victoria and David have business interests in London and want somewhere more convenient than Hertfordshire.”

Their search for a suitable place is likely to fuel speculation about David’s career plans.

He is due back at LA Galaxy next month after a six-month loan to AC Milan.

But it is thought he could follow former Milan chief Carlo Ancelotti to Chelsea.

Becks last week admitted he wants to move to Europe in December – despite having three years left on a £24.4million-a-year contract.

Well, whatever Dave’s career plans are, we think there’s a ‘Welcome Home’ in order…

I don't understand how their kids get an education... being moved from country to country all the time, it must be so unsettling. I really used to like Victoria, but now I think she seems so stuck up and self obsessed. But David ... now that's another story! ;0)

I am sure they always ensure that the kids are in good schools and have as little disruption as possible. It happens all the time that kids are moved schools and they seem to be reasonably resilient to it. Is probably more of an upheavel for David and Victoria, moving is so stressful!
