Happy Birthday, Cheryl!

The nation's sweetheart Cheryl Cole celebrated her 26th birthday yesterday - and the Girls Aloud beauty received a whole lotta love from husband Ashley and her X Factor colleagues.

Resuming her role as a judge on the talent show, Cheryl looked her usual stunning self in a super-cute embellished mini-skirt, purple blouse and vertigo-inducing Jimmy Choo's.

She also opted for a new updo rather than her usual flowing locks - and we think it suits her!

Hubby Ashley turned up on set in Manchester to surprise his wife with flowers, balloons and a nicely wrapped little parcel - and we would kill to know what was inside!

Chezza also received a birthday cake in the shape of a little white dog to resemble her 'real life' pooch Buster. We wonder what Simon Cowell got her?
