Pete's £500k modelling contract

Peter Andre is on a roll at the moment: after signing a £1million recording deal, the singer has reportedly landed a lucrative modelling contract with French designer Christian Audigier.

Having lost a significant amount of weight due to the stress of his messy separation from Jordan, Pete's new slimmer look caught the attention of the celebrity stylist, who has worked with pop legends like Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Madonna in the past.

Audigier is also behind the hugely successful Ed Hardy and Van Dutch labels and has kitted out Jordan and Peter on many occasions.

He told Closer Online: 'Pete has lost a lot of weight recently. He's in very good shape now. He's looking good.'

Audignier, who is currently in London to launch a range of champagne and fine wines, is said to have met up with newly single Pete and they reportedly agreed that the 36-year-old will become the new face of Ed Hardy in Europe.

Peter himself has admitted that his dramatic weight loss is due to his heartache over the marriage split.

He confessed: "It's amazing how stress keeps you trim. I might be looking all right, but I'm not feeling okay. Given the circumstances, I'm not doing as badly as I could be."

We know that money can't buy you love, but all that dosh that Pete's earning at the moment might help to soften the blow a bit!

Yes!! Great that Pete's got this new contract, he's been so dignified and shown everyone that he's not just Jordan's accessory or punchbag!! Lets hope it keeps up because he's a lovely guy who genuinely loves his kids, they mean more to him than anything and it must be great to be able to mentally at least give Jordan the finger over her incessant rants that without her he was nothing!!!

Pete you are a great guy, a great dad, & were a good husband, Katie is just so selfish & her nose is that far up her own **** that she couldn't even see it !!! She couldn't handle you getting a bit of attention, You can do sooo much better than her anyhow, & im sure you family agree!!!

Aww i'm dead chuffed for him! : )
I bet Jordan's fuming,as she keeps telling who ever will listen that he's nothing without her,well she's obviously wrong! And i bet you wont see her now in Ed Hardy,lol!
Personally i liked him with a bit of meat on his bones,so hopefully when he's got over the split,he'l be back to his gorgeous self.
