Jedward Leave Xfactor

Jedward eliminated

Monday 23 November 2009

Identical singing sensations John and Edward Grimes have become the latest casualties of The X Factor live shows after a shock bottom two.

The twins, nicknamed Jedward, ended up with the lowest number of votes along with 25-year-old Olly Murs, who had been the favourite to win the show.

The twins performed a cover of Boyzone's No Matter What in their signature style on last night's show, while Olly sang Eric Clapton's Wonderful Tonight in a bid to stay in the competition.

Judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue all opted to send Jedward home and save Olly, with only their mentor Louis Walsh voting to keep them in.

Singers Danyl Johnson, who had allegedly stormed out of rehearsals over his song choice and received a bashing from the judges, and Lloyd Daniels, who had landed in the bottom two twice before, managed to escape elimination this week.

Joe McElderry, who is mentored by Cheryl, is now the favourite to win, with Stacey Solomon coming in as second favourite.

Rumours that the show won't be worth watching after the twins' departure have just been made up. By us. The X Factor has lost its fun factor...

Should Jedward have gone home? Should Olly have been in the bottom two? Who should win?

RE: Jedward eliminated

Definitely, would not bother with XFactor now, there are no real talent left in the show. Yawn! Rating is definitely going down the drain from now on.

Correction on your remark - Jedward does NOT have the lowest vote from the public - It was Dannii who was afraid to lose her act to Jedward that voted them out. I doubt the boys were even in the bottom two.

Leave it to the public, the boys will go all the way and the producer and judges could not allowed that to happen as such they fixed the show so that Jedward left last week.

They already announced last Monday that Jedward was in trouble for last week show. Louis commented it last Monday and again announced it before the actual countdown so it was obvious. Even the sing off was obviously designed to give Olly the benefit, there was no fight nor any attempts to do what the boys were good at.

From next week, it is only the public votes that counts as such they have to get Jedward out of the show last week or they may potentially go on to win the show and the judges/producers could not risk losing control of the show.

Lloyds should have gone ages ago, he can't sing, dance nor entertain either.

They should have never got through in the first place, yeah i felt sorry for them on sat night, they looked really upset, but Louis hyped them up to be something their not,its Louis fault that they went.

RE: Jedward eliminated

'Evofirst' - where do you get all your info from? You seem to know an awful lot about the X Factor 'goings-on'...
"...no real talent left in the show...!" - sorry, what the bloody hell are you watching? Joe, Stacey & Olly are all fantastic entertainers! Plain & Simple Jedward couldn't sing to save their lives.
The final song is supposed to be just that, singing (no gimmicks/dancers etc) When Jedward sang, the volume on the backing vocals was so high you couldn't even hear them - small mercy!
Nothing against the lads - they will have their place (kid's TV etc) but they should never have been in the competition (Louis should've listened to Ronan Keating in the first place!)

RE: Jedward eliminated

overexcited is an understatement, can't really split the beans where the scoop is from, will get into trouble... sori, Olly not likely to win, the winner already been picked.
perhaps you should check your volume control, like Simon says to Cheryl, you are definitely watching a different show and Louis have listened to Ronan, they are entertaining!
