"My aim was to lose 2-3lbs this week and I lost 2lbs and have lost another 2lbs making 10lbs in total.
This week I’ve fallen off the wagon a bit. I had a very stressful day on Tuesday with a family member and ended up stopping at a fast food chain. While eating my burger I felt sick at the thought of all the calories and fat that it contained, but I couldn’t stop myself eating it. Feeling so guilty when I’d tucked the girls into bed I put on a exercise DVD and worked my butt off.
I ended up at a friend’s house for dinner over the weekend and she kindly cooked us up a fabulous meal of chicken fajitas, salad and healthy cooked chips (you parboil the cut-up potatoes and spay with FryLight and oven bake). And although I had a few cheeky glasses of wine spritzer I managed to stay within my daily calorie limit. It’s really great how flexible the Closer Diet plan is.
This week I even went out for a jog. I’m not a very confident person when it comes to outdoor things like this as I’d hate to think people were looking at me and laughing about my weight, but a least I did it! I may even try it again. I managed to do about 20 mins in total which is an improvement on my last attempt where I lasted all of about 5 mins!
I received my Bun & Thigh Wave equipment on wed and got it straight out the box for a try - you can but this here for £89.99. It was easy to put together and easy to use. Its a stepper style machine which mimics the surfing motion. Its meant to be great to tone the bum and thigh area. After a few minutes I could really feel it working on my thighs which is fab as my thighs are a problem area for me. I’m aiming to use this exercise machine every day for at least 20 minutes, and I’ll keep you posted with the results.
Now that the weather has been a bit nicer, I’ve been walking to collect my girls from school which takes about 15-20 mins each way and we have been walking back together which benefits all of us. I’ve still not booked a date for my personal training session at Fitness First but am really enjoying being in the gym even if sometimes it is only a half hour session.
Got a girls’ weekend away to Brighton for a friend’s hen party coming up – plan is go-karting, a meal and clubbing. So keep your fingers crossed I don’t overdo it!

Well done! I also recently started running outside, and it seems really daunting but once you've done it, it makes you feel so great! Your doing so well.
