Us ladies book our summer holidays ages in advance - giving ourselves time to attain the phenomenon that is the ultimate bikini body. But as reality has it, it’s now July and the ultimate bikini body we dreamed of all those months ago is still a lifetime away! The likes of Kate Upton and TOWIE's Lucy Meck bods as they dare to bare are making us jealous.

Skin
Moisturise your skin – moisturising is essential for smooth, shiny skin … if your skin is looking dull and flaky on the beach then all the hard work that went into toning your body will be less obvious
Fight the cellulite – the unsightly lumps and bumps that are cellulite can be conquered through diet, exercise and products. Get some berries, yogurt and pulses into your diet, go swimming, cycling or walking and invest in some anti-cellulite cream. Take that cellulite!
Give your face some TLC – it’s no good if the skin on your body looks radiant and your face lacks a glow. Cleanse, tone and moisturise, and eat mangoes which are full of antioxidants beta-carotene and vitamin C to give you a healthy complexion.
Arms
Lift weights daily – use a couple of tins of beans/spaghetti hoops if you don’t own weights. Standing with legs shoulder-width apart and holding one weight in each hand, bend and stretch your arms individually eight times. Repeat to target problem areas in your upper arms and shoulders.
Swim twice a week leading up to your holiday – not only will this tone your arms, but swimming gives your whole body a workout
Tummy

Sit ups - start by doing twenty sit ups one evening and increase the number you do every night until your holiday starts
Diet – eat fibre and fruit to prevent constipation as this makes you look bloated. Avoid fizzy drinks and go for herbal beverages instead. Eat healthily – for inspiration check out one of Closer Diets' meal plans
Bum
Exercise at work - tense and unclench your bum as you sit at your desk at work to make it firm
Exercise outside work - walking is very good for firming up the bum so get a mile long walk into your daily routine!
Legs
Exercise at work - walk or cycle to work in the days until your holiday if you can.
Exercise at home - employ some leg exercises into your evenings.
You could try squats. Stand with your feet just under shoulder width apart, bend knees and hips, lowering torso between the legs.
Once your knees are at a 90 degree angle, reverse direction to stand up straight again.
The torso remains upright throughout the movement. Once you have returned to your original position, start again.
You should perform this exercise 10 times in the early stages and later go onto 20 repetitions.
