Shaving tips to get the smoothest legs

It’s Friday which means getting your legs out for a night on the town is a distinct possibility. So, we thought we’d give you some tips for getting your pins smoother than the smoothest of smoothies, courtesy of respected razor brand Venus.
Moisturiser is key: The skin on your legs has far fewer oil glands on than other parts of your body, so keep it healthy with moisturiser
Give your legs a soak beforehand: It’s important to hydrate your hairs before shaving (it makes the hair easier to cut), ideally soak in a warm bath for one to two minutes. Don’t leave it too long though or the skin swells and you won’t get as close a shave!
Gel up: Using a shaving gel, such as Venus Satin Care Lavender Kiss, will help to keep hairs moist and ensure the razor glides smoothly over the skin, giving silky smooth glossy legs (plus the thick lather this one creates makes it easy to see where you’ve shaved so you can remove virtually every hair!)
Stretch and shave: This makes the skin more taught for a cleaner shave
Let the blade do the work: Don’t apply too much pressure, it can cause nicks– a good quality razor means you shouldn’t feel the need to press down whilst you shave
