Sugababes back cervical cancer campaign
Tuesday 01 December 2009
We all know how important charity is, but there's nothing like a stylish incentive to do a bit more good in the world!
Fight Cervical Cancer In Style is the latest non-profit campaign to raise awareness for the disease, which claimed the life of reality TV star Jade Goody earlier this year.
Heidi, Amelle and Jade have backed the campaign with organisation Jo's Trust, which is the UK's only cervical cancer charity.
Heidi said: "Having performed at Jade Goody’s wedding, cervical cancer is a subject we feel passionately about."
"We are proud to be supporting the campaign as it is important that girls and women realise how they could catch the virus that causes cervical cancer, as well as the steps they could take to reduce their risk,” she added.
What's more, they're modelling a super-hip scarf that's been created especially for the cause.
The scarf has been designed by hip Londoners PPQ, and with its rich purple colour and on-trend animal print, the scarf looks a lot like the Louis Vuitton version, which is a favourite with the A-List.
