Today is No Smoking day – what better day to begin making your body a no-smoking zone!?
Here are some tips for you to try and nip your smoking habit in the bud:
When you get the craving for that nicotine fix, wait 15 minutes and you might just forget you even want a cigarette. It takes a lot of willpower but it’ll be that bit better for your lungs and heart.
If you think about how much money you spend on your smoking habit, you’ll probably shudder. Put the money you’d usually spend on a pack of fags into a sealed money box When you can say loud and proud ‘I’ve quit smoking’, open it up and treat yourself.
It may not be the cheapest option but Drew Barrymore and Charlize Theron have both broken the habit with the use of hypnotherapy. Research hypnosis thoroughly if you're considering getting it done.
Try nicotine alternatives like patches or gum. These will feed your addiction without damaging your health as much as smoking does. (Please check with your doctor first!)
