Better than getting bombed though...there are cameras everywhere anyway nowadays. If you've got nothing to hide then there shouldn't be a problem?!

RE: Outrage at £3m cameras to spy on Muslims
I can understand this being a little annoying, but if they are not doing anything wrong why are they worrying...
I would love to have cameras around me where i live to stop crime. Some pikey scum decided to put a brick through my neighbours window... if we had camera the culprits would have been found!
I see this as more of a good thing then a bad... if one of them got mugged or beaten up they would complain there was no CCTV to find the peopler...

why can't you just leave muslims alone let them be themselves who gives a dam there not all bad so like they deserve privacy and just treat them like any other person

RE: Outrage at £3m cameras to spy on Muslims
if certain muslims hadn't been monitored and followed in schemes like this Sammi then we would have had many more terrorist attacks in Britain.
It is a shame as I agree the majority are normal, peaceful people but as it stands terrorism is a huge threat to the safety of our entire society so it makes sense to monitor muslims more closely than other groups even if it causes some offence. I'd rather someone watched me on CCTV than get blown up on my way to work...!

damn right Sugar Sweet, always someone willing to cry discrimination! at the end of the day if you live in England, you live by the rules enforced by the Government. if you dont want to then you know what you can do!! CCTV is necessary these days for many reasons, and nobody has the right to question the safety of the population, muslim or not!

RE: Outrage at £3m cameras to spy on Muslims
I thought this country was Muslim friendly, we are starting to ecme like americans and this could have serious consequenses on the countries security. And why aint other religions being spied on, this is pure bulls****t and should be remove because they are humans and they deserve respect. This group is to be the ones who dont joke about their religion and that doesnt mean LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION on ever step they take.

RE: Outrage at £3m cameras to spy on Muslims
its more important to protect against terrorism than to worry about offending muslims! if they arent doing anything wrong then they have nothing to worry about, and the ones that wear burkhas shouldnt moan cos they cant see who they are anyway!

RE: Outrage at £3m cameras to spy on Muslims
I thought monitoring terrorism was a good thing, why should it offend people? if they aren't doing anything then they shouldn't worry, i would like CCTV in my area, i would feel a little safer walking round when it starts getting dark (and i don't live in a rough area) and at least if anything happens it's easier to catch the scum.
It seems eveything offends some sort of religion these days, don't like it.......then find the nearest port and do one, all this crying discrimination and racism is getting old people are sick of hearing it, can't get their own way.....that's racist!!
