Chell888... You really need to learn to spell check my dear.
I would get you being upset at this magazine for getting your story wrong or misleading people. But this is Closer Mag.... have you never read any of the other real life stories?

chelsea you do need to learn to use the spell check!
At the end of the day she's your daughter and little girls are little girls no matter how you try and bring them up! I wanted a little tom boy that wore jeans and trainers all the time. She's now 3 and insists on wearing high healed dress up shoes around the house and wears my makeup everytime i leave it within her reach. i do not encourage her but i do not stop her from being who she is.

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
This so so worrying.
Why put such an importance on appearance so early in life? At that age you should be teaching a child they are beautiful without make-up in order to prevent self-esteem issues. If the child is allowed to worry about her looks at this age then it's not so hard to believe she could worry about, for example, her weight in a few years. I have seen this pattern happen, I work in childcare.
A child wanting to be a glamour model at 4 is disgusting. Children of this age shouldn't even know what Jordans 'job' is. No wonder teenagers are getting pregnant younger and younger when they are subject to this kind of sexualisation so early in life.
Some people just shouldn't be parents.

@Chell888
It doesn't take 2 minutes to skim through what you have wriiten and realise it makes you look illiterate. If you are who you say you are (this poor child's mother) then I suggest you go to college and take some reading and writing exams as thick people should not be responsible for young children.
As for Jordan and her poor unfortunate children they can afford to look silly and wear make up as they have the money, you live on my taxes and eat spaghetti hoops on toast so get a job love!!!!!!

@Chav who commented on my comment.
I'm certainly better than dole scum who don't work, I've been to University and have my own house and life thanks for asking. ;D
The only reason people live on benefits is because they are too lazy to work. My friend recently had a baby she doesn't work she sits at home all day and does nothing I feel bad for her really.
No I don't know Chelsea I'm sure she's a lovely... Thanks for your reply it really makes me happy that I've annoyed you, now as you say I must get back on high horse now and keep my mouth shut (mate) only chavs call people that BTW...

Hmmm i think snowrose is being very harsh. Obviously your entitled to your opinions about articles but to make sweeping statements about chavs etc is just picking for an argument tbh. I went to Uni and was on the dole for a while before i got my job. There is nothing wrong with people on benefits they are there for a reason and In most cases they help people that need them. Some people abuse the system but who are you to judge on who is and isn't deserving of them? Obviously this story had been very twisted on the truth and I feel for the girl but at same time hope that she learnt something from this and hopefully won't be as naive to think all these mags are deceitful and just out to get people (like us) reading and commenting.

hahahahaha this is hilarious! its all the same on here a group of stuck up ppl and a group of normal people arguing over people on benefits ooooooo i'm a mum on benefits my husband works but i'm a student before i accidently fell pregnant i was a big hotel manager obveously you cannot do that with a baby 80 hours a week and children are not a good combo. so now i'm a student learning so i can do a job when my kids start school so i'll be able to have a good job and spend time with my kids! so i have to live on benefits for a few years i put loads more into the system than what i'm getting back out now! yes i should not have fell pregnant but the pill did not work condem me for being a sponge! and not to take sides or anything but
I'm sorry I've forgot what we were arguing about... I can't be arsed to scroll up either

LOL she sells her story to a magazine, doesnt like the negative press so gets her mates to defend her on here!
was the few quid really worth the slating you got love?
may as well voice my opinion while im at it..... its disgrace that you think your daughter looks good caked in make-up, she is still a baby for gods sake! i have a daughter who is nearly 3, and she likes to join in when im putting make up on, occasionally i put her a little bit on. however, i wouldnt dream of caking her in heavy make up and have her looking like a little tart! get a job and pay for her to do normal things like kids her age, dancing lessons or something like that, sponger!

hayleyg124 your a contradiction to yourself, who are you to say who normal people are and aren't?? why should you get benfits if your husband works????? and as you say in your own words you were the manager of a BIG HOTEL why do you need to go back to college to learn a trade the fact you managed a BIG HOTEL should look pretty damn good on your CV, why not work the same hours instead of going to college and earn some money then you wont need to sponge off society.

@ laceyj do you have a clue? i was a manager I have the qualifications to be a manager too so if i interview for a job they turn me down because i am over qualified also you can get benefits on earnings up to £50000. i'm not on income support or job seekers also what would you say to a story in here about a mum that left her children for days at a time so that she could work ? i used to have to spend days at work can't do that with no kids unless you want to come round and babysit for 3 days at a time since no child care will take them the hours my husband and i work? no thought not ! no so i have to start again and find a new profession because sadly we're not all perfect like you are as for me being a contradiction to my self please do not use big words you do not know the meaning of. your stereotyping everyone on benefits as a sponge who are you to stereotype people? and @ mrshiggy i'm not her friend i've never met her and if you read the comments she just lets the little girl put on makeup as you do with your daughter closer has edited it so the story gets more interest.

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
You all really need to get a life. Has the current media and society not taught any of you anything... do not believe everything you read in tabloids, magazines or see on TV.
We were all once a young child and we all once experimented with make-up and Mum's clothes.
Snowrose, you can not walk around thinking that everyone who signs on is 'scum or chavvy'. It isn't right- we are all human beings and we all have feelings, to say something like that to someone makes you just as bad. I really wish people would stop this labeling.
Chell888- you have a beautiful little girl and you do not need to explain yourself to anyone.

another one of Chelsea's friends probably.
no you are right, not everyone who signs on is scum, i myself was made redundant and had to do so until i could find work, however, this girl allows her daughter to look like this - scum.
this little girl should be playing with dollies and going to the park after school - not coming home and putting on a full face of slap!!
this story may have been exaggerated, but there must have been some truth in it - she didnt have to sell her story!

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
lol I find it quite amusing how people bite!! if people don't want to be the topic of conversation then don't sell stories AND THEN try and say it's all lies, I don't care if her daughter slaps the make up on 24/7 it's not my children that are doing it so I am not bothered it's the hypocritical dumbwits that come on here who have no spelling skills and even less brain cells wanting to argue with anyone who dare have an opinion that isn't the same as theirs, who have nothing better to do with their day than slag hard working folk off for complaining how their hard earned wages are being taxed to the max and given to people who have no interest in working and want to sit on their asses all day doing nothing but scour their computer for the next argument!!

(and i work evenings lol, just to be clear im one of the hard working people that pays tax and provides for my child)
she's probably spent the money paid for the article on beer and fags, so is hoping another magazine reads this and offers her money to print the 'truth'!
some people should have stayed at school instead of having kids and expecting the tax payers to feed them!

I am not one of Chelsea's friends actually.... if that was the case would I not be speaking like a 'chav' as you all seem to tar people with the same brush...
How do you know that is true? How would you feel if you this was you over something minor that happened in your life? No your right she didn't have to sell her story- but she did and you read it and is apparently such a huge issue with everyone else. Yeah some truth in that she is a little girl playing with make up and clothes... I know when I was younger I had a girls world doll and loved doing that up what is wrong with putting some on now and again which Chelsea has clearly tried to tell people can you all not read either???
Are you all going to tar me with the same brush just because I have an opinon? Am I am jobseekers because I am commenting during the day???

there's a big difference between shortening your words and spelling them wrong! maybe people wouldn't be so annoyed if you weren't spending their taxes on make up for your four year old daughter!
and maybe your boyfriend should be using the credit on your phone to search the Job Centre website to look for work!
Whilst you are claiming benefits may i suggest some of the free literacy courses they offer you to help you find a job..... there's people with serious illnesses that can sit working at a desk, or maybe a bit of volunteer work - put something back into society instead of planning to turn your daughter into a glamour model at 18 and sponging off her!

To be honest the so called "Chav" on here is handling all these abusive comments really well. Its all the other people on here who have a massive problem. When I first looked at this article i didn't think id be sympathising with the mother but I actually do. So the make up thing isn't cool but to judge a person on other aspects of their life and their spelling is just bullying tbh. Argh I'm even getting annoyed with myself by getting drawn in to commenting on these silly stories. Lol x

@misspiggy..... hahahaha bet you really chuckled at yourself for thinking up that hilarious comment didn't you! if you didn't care what anybody thought you wouldn't have approached the magazine to sell your story, let alone be commenting on here, so you toddle off and carry on being a 'moddle' parent, maybe she can get a tattoo for her fifth birthday!

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
so can i you ILLITERATE IDIOT! you knew full well what people were going to say about this story, personally i think you are enjoying this debate with people!
the fact that you have had comments removed (i saw the one where you called someone a c**t) and are clutching at straws with comments like the one about stick on tattoos (when i said getting a tattoo for her birthday i meant a real one) shows what an imbocile you are. if you didn't want people commenting negatively then you shouldn't have sold this story to a magazine - even your own mother thinks it is wrong!
My 11 year old daughter has some make-up..... my 3 year old does not!! and even the 11 year old doesn't slap it on like that - and the thought of any of my kids having boob jobs has never even crossed my mind.
don't worry about offending me, i don't think i'm better than everyone else but i also don't make my baby girl look cheap and nasty, and (in your own words) worry about them attracting peadophiles. Oh and just so you know - 7 years old is still too young for her to make up her mind about what she puts on her face.... or her body for that matter. Thank god they are changing the law about selling provocative clothes for children!!

@mrsshiggy or what ever your name is I think that you ar bang out of order. I don't even know chlesea. But I will stick up for someone who is getting slack from a magazine and people who don't know her.
People who want to call me a Chav then that's fine but don't have a go at a little girl and her family. So what of they claim benifits. That shouldnt define a person. We all live in one world. At some point in the past or at some point in the future you will all claim benifits.
I think that everyone who has had a go at this family should be ashamed of them selfs. All this family is doing what's best for their family

@DVbaby read the article. she said she would be happy for her daughter to eventually pose topless! if you think that's ok then you are a buffoon as well!
she knew full well the reaction she was going to get, even her own mother doesn't agree. she reacted to the negative comments, called people abusive names, which im guessing is why the comments were removed, cos nobody else's have been. Nobody is having a go at the little girl, and nobody said claiming benefits defines people, what does define a person if if they think its ok to keep reproducing at the tax payers expense!
how on earth can you say that she is doing the best for her child? parent yourself are we?

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
Actually I'm not a parent thank you very much. Is any mother doing the best for their child. Like she said in her comments that the story was about her daughter looking like Jordans daughter. Not the fact that she wears make up. At the end of the day if that child wants to get a boob job it's not our choise. I think that you and everyone else should just back of an leave this family alone. So what if chlesea sold her story. She did it in good faith not knowing that closer would make it so bad that ignorant people like you would comment such nasty things.
If you have kids needless to say I feel sorry for them.

If you believe that a reputable magazine like Closer would print lies like that, especially with the lawsuit fashion from the US that has gripped this country, then you are thicker than her. No need to feel sorry for my kids sweetheart, cos they are exactly that - KIDS. Not desperate to be 'grown-up' like this poor little girl because of the shitty example she's been set.

If they have made all this stuff up then the answer is simple - she needs to take them to court, she'll get legal aid! I very much doubt that though.I am in no way saying my life is perfect, but i don't broadcast it in magazines for the whole country to read.

so if you lose the case against the magazine, and this does come back to haunt your daughter in the future, she'll have you to thank! poor child, i hope for her sake it doesn't cos she is a pretty little thing and deserves better

@laceyj, i'm a little bored lol. and as a parent myself reading stories like this infuriates me, especially as there are so many people out there who are much more deserving than this idiot of children and are unable to have them. shame she doesn't listen to her mother. I'll keep my eyes peeled though, if she gets an article written apologising to her i shall apologise myself. funny how none of the other people who get negative press in the magazine by selling their stories ever say it was fabricated. i'm going to put my daughter to bed now, and i'll be giving her face a wash so it's clean, not to scrape off make-up......

@mrssiggy you scum really you are. You can't back up what you say about people that you have to call them names. I'm now repaying the favor you pice of c**p. You say that u would never let your child put make up on. Well dosent she play dress up or see u put make up on you mother f***ker. People bring up their children differently and I feel sorry for your daughter who obvsly ain't aloud to b a lil girl and wear make up for fun and have a life like a child should. Your scum and maybe should get a life of your own. How dare you put someone down and say mean things about thier child when u don't know that person or her family. Piece of s**t that's what you are. hahaha! funny how you get so angry about someone you dont even know..... if you had read the posts properly i said if the story had been fabricated i would apologise, and i also didnt say that i would NEVER let my child put make up on either - i said that its an occasional thing for play purposes, she doesnt have her own bloody make up bag. you say you pity my daughter.... i pity any kids that you might have if you think its ok for a 4 year old girl to slap make up on. now f**k off and learn to read and spell before you dish out your s**t

Well this story is about a 4 year old girl slapping on a full face of make-up every day, to an extent where her grandma and teachers make comments. so its not just playing is it. so sling it you fool.

All little girls want to be like their mums! Teya-Marie is a cute little girl that obviously likes to dress up. Why are you all getting so bloody irate! Look at the pictures, teya-Marie is clearly looked after, clean clothes and face no bruises or marks so how can Chels be a bad mum? I dont think any of you have the right to slag her off when you don't know what her parenting skills are like! When I was little I always went out wearing my auntys heels I thought I looked lovely but I obviously didn't but in actualy fact Teya-Marie looks so cute! A little eye shadow and mascara isnt a big deal, I could understand if Chelsea was letting her wear foundation and dying her hair wear g strings and walking though soho square but shes not! All I can say is girls will be girls and Chelsea seems like a great mum and hey who knows Teya-Marie could end up being Princess's make up artist in years to come- then you'll all be praising her!

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
wow all of you arguing are embarassing yourselves! aren't you articulate enough to share your opinion without slagging each other off and calling names? ive got into heated debates on this website before but never waver off the topic in hand and result to personal insults! grow up this is an opinion forum not a slanging match!
as for the story in hand theres no doubt its exaggerated because they have to make a story out of things however i still think its disturbing for little girls to be wearing make up!
make up is to aid women's appearence when they are older therefore you are teaching her at a riddiculously early age to find imperfections and not be happy with her own skin! this is only going to get worse as she gets older!
ive no doubt she is looked after and happy but it is the long term implications that are the issue because she may grow up to be a very insecure and self consious young lady.
why closer feel the need to mention whether people work or not is beyond me, they obviously are trying to promote an angry response which is wrong because there's a family in the middle which although they decided to sell their story, doesnt mean they should be slated for reasons that are very seperate from the article in question and closer have set them up!

Personally I couldn't agree more with the comment on why they had to bring up they didn't work but the fact that some people have said that people are chavs because they don't work and have a go at people because they don't work and have a go @ a little girl for being just that a little girl. Weather Chelsea or her partner work or not is not for us to judge

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
HA HA HA this is all so funny. i dont think people should be calling each other names on here come we are all adults start acting like it.
i have to say that i do not agree with letting your 4 year old wear makeup to school or teaching your 4 year old child how to put on a full face of makeup let her be a child for god sake. i didnt learn how ti put on makeup until i was a teenager. As Chelsea said in the artical letting your 4 year do that could attract the wrong kinds of people. Im sure Chelsea loves her daughter very much and wants to do anything to make her happy but my dear you have to learn how to say NO! i just hope this dosent lead onto botox at 8 and sunbeds at 10. your are starting on a slippery slop.
Also Chelsea even if this is not the artical you hoped would be in the magazine people will always have there own opinions and will voice them. surley you would have know this before you sold the artical.

I think the fact she is 23 and has 3 children, one being 8 years old tells you everything you need to know about this 'mother' (and i use that term lightly)
She wants to play dollys with her real child.....for gods sake, its pathetic chav scum....i feel sorry for the little girl...

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
Why dose it matter if she is 23 with 2 kids
I know some one who is 22 with 4 kids
I don't think it matters how many kids you have or how old you are. I don't think it's right for people to say that she is a chav because she has so many children or scum for the same reason.
Morethan2braincells are unsure u don't have just the one

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
Its not really about how many children you have, its about how mature you are when you have them. That maturity will, more than likely, dictate how responsible you are as a parent.
I don't think the 22 year old that has 4 children will know a lot about the world and be very educated and be able to pass that knowledge on to her children. Did they finish school? unlikely....
There is no question, that the mother in this article is irresponsible, to corrupt her childs mind in this way by inflicting her own warped sense of values....and then, to make it worse, she sells it to a magazine like she is proud of it!

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
Damn right!!
At the end of the day this little girl is FOUR years old, not fourteen, all little girls like make up and to be like their mums, but there is a difference between play make up and full on slap every day. and the fact she let her wear mascara to school, when most secondary schools dont allow it, just goes to show what an immature irresponsible parent she is. bet the teachers cringe at the thought of speaking to her.Poor kid - shame cos she is a cutie anyway

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
Seems like Chelsea spent more time putting on slap and getting knocked-up to bother getting even a basic education judging by the appalling spelling and lack of grammar. Only consolation is that the poor kid probably won't learn to read well enough to comprehend all this rubbish in years to come!

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
Hmmm this is ridiculous! Yeah When were younger we all put make up on and dress up in our moms clothes and act like grown ups ... but not a full face of slap! especially AT THE AGE OF FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!
“If she wants to wear foundation when she’s seven, I’ll let her – she’ll be old enough to make up her own mind by then.” Old enough to make up her mind? AT 7!! Oh please!
If she looks older then what she is at the age of four ... think when she’s 14 - 15 and she’s wearing all this make up and goes out with a man twice her age because she lied about her age and said she was older? How would her mother feel then???
And how the hell her mother can just casually say oh when she turns 18 she can have a boob job?? HOW ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR THAT?? OUT OF OUR TAXES THAT WE WORK SO HARD FOR WHILE SHE SITS AROUND ALL DAY GETTING HERSELF PREGNANT AND SPENDING ALL OUT MONEY!!!! Or claim it on the NHS! Absolutely discracefull! And before all you lot try and defend her DONT BOTHER!! If she didnt want all these negative comments she shouldn’t have sold her story to this magazine ... does she not know that you can never trust reporters!!!!!!
End of rant.

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
WOWWWW!! I'm exhausted, haven't seen a comment section like this for ages in this magazine!
My daughter is nearly 12, and has started wearing mascara because her friends do, and my husband goes ballistic, I think he would he would have disowned me if I let her do it at 4! If she was just wearing it
indoors playing dress up, I think thats fine, I agree most little girls love doing that. But to let her wear it outside, where you don't know what vile
nonces are looking at her is dangerous and wrong. It doesn't matter if
her mother is there, just thinking of some pervert thinking about her in that way is vile, and there are perverts out there that get their kicks from
looking at little girls looking like that.
So maybe just let her play dress up in doors?

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
The mother is mind numbingly stupid. She sets no example at all - she has four children all under 8 years of age and she's only 23. She's using her daughter to make some money and that's the main priority. She is no longer with the little girl's father, probably he isn't the boy's father either and now she's shacked up with a 21 year old all live on benefits. Where does she get the money for a four year old's makeup anyway? The woman is a moron if she doesn't think sexualising her 4 year old in this way is exposing her to all sorts of problems. She wants publicity mostly for herself. Her attitude is her daughter can do as she likes! - well that will come back to bite her in the arse when the kid's 15. Well let's hope so anyway.

disgusting it sounds like the mum wants her to wear the make up not the child shes putting the thoughts and actions into the childs head let the kid be a 4 year old for god sake the mothers going to turn that child into trouble i can see it now then she will have a different opinion about her actions.she wants to grow up n act like a responsible parent

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
This story is disgraceful. I'm a nineteen year old woman who works full time and is also a full time student doing an English degree. While I must mention I have no children yet so have no idea how to be a parent, I have to younger sisters and know how to be a good example.
Had my mother been on benefits my whole life and allowed me to wear make up aged 4!! Then I more than likely would still be living at home and have no work ethic or respect for myself! As it were me and my partner are in the process of getting our mortgage and starting our own lives.
I owe my value of money and hard work to my parents who have always being loving but fair and NEVER let me where make up until I was 12. If Chelsea carrys on as she is, all she will do is make her daughter believe that it is ok to be on benefits and have no self respect and she is more than likely going to be a mother herself by the time she is twenty.
While it is all fun and games putting make up on as a child (all girls have done it), there is a fine line between playing dress up and tarting yourself up which is what Chelsea doesn't seem to understand.
It would pay you @chell888 to take heed some of the comments made by these women with children. No one is saying you are a bad mother but you parenting technique definately needs adjusting.

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
Omg this is pathetic ! I'm 17 and I have a little girl who's 2 year old.
When I was a little girl I used to play with make-up I used to put foundation, mascara, eyeliner, lipstick and blusher on at 2 year old, it's not as if she's letting her daughter put fake tan or foundation on is it? Little girls tend to play around putting make up on, trying on their mams clothes and shoes.
So leave her alone, and so what if she's on benefits ?
I'm on benefits because I can't find anyone to take care of my little girl, I still went to school and came out with full GCSE's just can't get into college because I need someone to look after my girl.
So don't think just cause we're on benefits the majority of us want too be, it's just helpful for now.

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
I don't think we have a right to judge anyone. If this little girl wants to wear make up then she can. Which girly girl dosent want to wear make up. I mean I did when I was a kid. If she wants a boob job when she is older who are we to judge, Katie Price had boob job after boob job and has made a living out of it. My parents raised me in different ways then everybody elses parents. I believe that every family is different and Chelsea has a right to raise her children the way she wants. Any one who sells their story is doing it in good faith. I honestley don't think calling people chavs, etc. Is aceptable until you know that person. I'm just a normal person going to college, looking after my dad and working and doing football training so call me what u want it's just sad that peoples ugly side comes out when a mum is saying how her daughter looks like someone elses kid.

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
Oh and to put me in to a sterotype like one person did is wrong. You don't know me. Dose it matter if I had 5 kids or none ( I'm 22 and have no kids btw). And some one told me to spell right. I'm dslesyc (how ever u spell it) and I had people tell me I'm stupid all my life. But then it's not about me or my spelling it's about a four year old girl who likes make up. One day all your young daughters will grow up and wear make up and if they don't then fine let them experement. Don't judge. This world is all about putting labels on people and I'm sorry I don't like it. I try not to do it. People think that they are better then the next person and I am a believer that noone is better then anything. Oh and another thing the person I know who is 22 with 4 kids may not have finished school but then neither did I and I have no kids.

RE: Girl, 4, applies make-up to look like Princess
I think this is fine for a child to dress up and put on make up. I did when i was this age. However I wouldn't allow my child out of the house dressed up like a glamour girl. Its fair enough playing with make up in your mums bedroom but a completely different thing allowing your 4 year old out in public like that. People wonder why there are all these pervers preying on little kids. Well i think this story pretty much sums that up. Not very good tbh.
