OAP hooker: ‘Men love a woman with experience – I’ve deflowered a virgin’

When pensioner Dotty Brown found herself struggling to stay on top of her bills, she discovered a risqué way to pay the rent.

The 68-year-old granny, from Portsmouth, joined an escort agency last July, after struggling on her £560-a-month pension. She offered men her “mature” services, charging up to £150 an hour for full sex in her flat.

Size 16 Dotty sleeps with up to 20 men a week and has earned more than £45,000 in the last year – nearly £30,000 more than her in previous job as a care worker. And in the year since Dotty started, she’s romped with men aged between 24 and 75 – and has even taken a client’s virginity.

“My clients like the fact I’m experienced and approachable. If they’re feeling nervous, I give them a cup of tea and we chat.”

The divorcée – who enjoys day trips to the Isle of Wight, knitting scarves, reading and doing wordsearches with a cup of tea – explains: “I know what I’m doing with a man. I’d had three long-term partners and slept with 15 other men before I started escorting. I’ve always enjoyed sex and have no problem sleeping with someone I don’t know or love. It’s just a physical act.

“My clients like the fact I’m experienced and approachable. If they’re feeling nervous, I give them a cup of tea and we chat.”

Dotty – who has three daughters aged 41, 38, and 36 and three grandchildren ranging in age from 13 to 17 – adds:

“I never get to know too much about clients, though – I want them in and out, then I can go shopping with the money!”

Dotty first married in 1975 at 31, but divorced her husband five years later and went on to have two long-term relationships – the last one ending in 2005.

She moved from Bedfordshire to Portsmouth in 2009 for a change, but soon found she was struggling to stay on top of her bills and racked up £1,000 in debt on water bills and TV licence fees.

Dotty explains: “I’d previously worked as a carer, looking after disabled people, but since I stopped working, I only had my £140 pension a week. I found it difficult to get by. I couldn’t treat myself to pretty dresses and handbags or holidays. I was living on my own and panicked about paying the heating bills.”

Then, early last year, Dotty saw a mature escort being interviewed on ITV’s This Morning and was struck by how normal she seemed. Six months later, with bills piling up, Dotty spotted an advert for an escort agency in Portsmouth and decided to look into it.

She recalls: “It seemed like an easy way to make money and I was fed up with worrying about bills. I’ve never seen sex as a big deal and I knew it would pay better than care work did. I phoned the agency and, when I  told them phone I was 67, they said there were lots of requests for older women.

“The next day, I had a photo shoot for the agency’s website. I had to go topless, so I had a glass of wine to calm my nerves before. I felt self-conscious, but I knew that showing some flesh would give me a better chance of getting bookings. The female photographer put me at ease and, once I relaxed, we had a laugh.”

Within two days, Dotty – who’s only told two friends about her new line of work – was inundated with requests.
The 38D grandmother, who hadn’t had sex for three years when she started work, explains: “My first client was 38, average-looking with dark hair and seemed anxious. I was nervous, too, so I started by asking how he was and then we got down to business. I performed a sex act on him and he was gone within half an hour. I made £100.”

She adds: “I had a break for a coffee, then the phone rang again. The next lad was 28 and he came round 30 minutes later. We had full sex, but it was all over in 10 minutes. I saw seven men that day and earned £1,000. Each time, it got easier and I kept thinking about the money – I wasn’t emotionally attached to them at all. I was new to the website and my pictures were raunchy, so I think I attracted lots of attention. The agency gave an emergency number to call if I was worried about any of the men.”

Dotty saw 20 clients in her first week and earned £3,000. She recalls: “I bought a handbag from Tesco and a few dresses. I paid off my debts and felt like I was back in control.”

After her initial surge, business slowed to an average of five men a week, but Dotty – who always sees clients at her one-bed flat – soon picked up regulars. She says: “New girls were being added to the site and they started getting attention, but I still had lots of interest. Some people were after a discreet service with someone experienced.

“I’d chat on the phone first to make sure they sounded decent. I’ve had requests for bondage and role-play, but I don’t do that. I provide foreplay and straight sex – I’m in control. If they don’t like it, they can use someone else.”

Three months on, Dotty met a 24-year-old man who wanted to lose his virginity.

The saucy OAP recalls: “When I opened the door and saw how young he was, I nearly passed out. He said to me:

‘I’m 24, I hope you don’t mind.’ Then he said he was a virgin. I couldn’t believe he’d pay to have sex with someone old enough to be his grandmother, but he said he wanted a woman with experience. He was very nervous, but stayed for an hour and, by the time I’d finished, he’d learned a trick or two. I was pleased I’d given him a good experience on his first time.”

“My favourite position is missionary, but I’m pretty flexible, so can get adventurous. I keep myself in shape by walking and eating one meal a day. I’m in good health and can keep up with youngsters in the bedroom.”

Dotty – who has regular STI tests and always uses condoms – believes it’s her “nice and sweet” nature that keeps clients coming back. She says: “I’ve got life experience and men like that. Lots of the clients are married and my oldest client was 75 – all he did was play with my boobs and I got £100. I think he enjoyed the companionship. Most of my clients run their own businesses, so have flexible hours and often come in the morning.

“My favourite position is missionary, but I’m pretty flexible, so can get adventurous. I keep myself in shape by walking and eating one meal a day. I’m in good health and can keep up with youngsters in the bedroom.”

While frisky Dotty is raking it in, she hasn’t yet confided in her family. She says: “They’d be appalled, but I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong. I’m earning enough money to live a good lifestyle and I’ll be buying my grandchildren lots of Christmas and birthday presents. I haven’t saved much, but I’ve put away £300. People might be shocked by what I do, but it’s just sex – it doesn’t mean anything. I’ll carry on as long as I’m fit and healthy.”

Adding she’s not looking for love, Dotty says: “I’ve been single for seven years and I don’t want another man. My work means I get down to business, then get rid of them – the way I like it!”
