Lady impregnated with wrong embryo!

A lady who was impregnated with the wrong embryo when undergoing IVF treatment has had the baby and handed him over to his biological parents.

When Carolyn Savage was told by doctors that she was pregnant with somebody else's child, she decided to go ahead with the pregnancy despite being advised to have an abortion.

She and her husband Sean got in touch with the child's biological parents and agreed to give the baby to them once it was born.

Speaking about handing over the baby, who was born in September last year, Mrs Savage said: "We will wonder wbout this child for the rest of our lives.

"But they are his parents, and we'll defer to them on when or if they tell him what happened, and any contact that's afforded us."

The mix up occurred because the baby's biological mother Shannon Morell's maiden name was 'Savage', and her embryos were filed under this name.

Mrs Morell says the baby has been named 'Logan Savage' to mark the circumstances of his birth.

The baby in the picture is not little Logan Savage.

What a crazy sequence of events eh?
