Killer mum sat on and smothered baby with Bible

A six-week-old baby was killed after her religious fanatic of a mother stuffed Bible pages in her mouth and bounced up and down while sitting on her.

Julia Lovemore, who suffers from Bipolar disorder and was under the close watch of social services, was in a psychotic state when she terminated the life of baby Faith.

As the horrific incident occurred, Ms Lovemore's husband David shrieked: "Take the Devil out of Julia." Later, he carried Faith's body into a GP surgery.

Yesterday, a court heard that social workers had been at Ms Lovemore's house earlier that day.

Prosecuting lawyer John Farmer said: "Profound mental ill health and religious bliefs was an explosive cocktail."

Ms Lovemore admitted manslaughter and was detained indefinitely under the Mental Health Act.

Her husband was earlier cleared of allowing the child to die.

May little Faith RIP.

Such a sad story... Faith's mum was unwell, if only she was sussed as totaly unfit to be a parent earlier

Wow. Thats Bad. The Fact Someone Could Do That. I Guess They Were Disturbed And Not Well But That Baby Should Have Been Somewhere It Would Be Looked After And Cared For.

again social workers not doing they're job good enough, baby faith has been let down rip baby faith x

baby faith has been seriously let down and so has her mother. its amazing what religion can make people do and how much damage can be caused in its name. and for social workers only to have been there on the morning? not doing there jobs comes to mind. rip faith
