Mother stabs 3-year-old daughter to death

A mother has stabbed her three-year-old daughter to death, it was revealed today.

After stabbing her young child 'scores' of times, she then doused her body in acid, the court was told.

It has been claimed that Iman Omar Yousef attacked her daughter with such brutal force that the knife went through her tiny body and into the carpet underneath her. Officers have called the incident 'sad and tragic.'

Prosecutor James Burbidge who was called to the awful scene in Birmingham said, 'Alia's body was in the state of decomposition. The skin had melted away exposing bone, due to some form of corrosive substance having been applied.'

Apparently her body was partly covered with bin liners and the officers could smell acid.

The littel girls body was so damaged, the court heard, that a cause of death could not be determined. Yousef is a paranoid schizophrenic and has been declared too unfit to plead on a murder charge. Jurors are in the process of deciding if she unlawfully killed her daughter.

oh my goodness how shocking! she should have been taken into care no doubt about it! what do the jurors need to decide on of course a killing is unlawfull whether your mentally ill or not, i hope she gets some help thoug but then if ashe did recover she will be left with the terrible guilt of what she did. tragic for everyone involved and spare a thought as well for the paramedics or anyone who had to go to the horrific scene it must be hard when you go home at the end of the day.

R.i.p little girl. Hope the mother gets the help she needs schizophrenia is not a nice thing. She should have been monitored more closely especially since she had a child.

Poor little baby. I can't bear to think of the pain she went through. I know the mother is ill, but I'm still so upset and angry over what she has done. Why the hell was she allowed to keep a child when her schizophrenia was obviously so bad?? How many other deaths are we going to read about because of this illness, these people should be forced to take medication or not be allowed to be around other people, and certainly they should not be allowed to bring up children. Probaby i'm upsetting the pc brigade, but
it's not very pc to go around murdering children when there
is help and medication available out there so they can lead
normal and peaceful lives.
