I think you are very brave for doing this and at the end of the day that child is going to grow up knowing they are loved and were well and truly wanted. Young girls pop out children at the age of 15 and we accept it because thats what our cultures turned to and yet when a couple try to have a child in a way thats slightly different its frowned upon. Think of all the children who aren't loved and yet they are brought into the world. They want a child to love and call their own whats so wrong with that?

What is wrong with you people??! How can you possibly defend this?!! This person made a decision to become a male and should have stuck with it. men dont give birth. he/she/it has spent years taking tetosterone and god knows what else, mutilating the body she was given and who knows what effect this could have on an unborn child? this is all wrong on so many levels its making a mockery of nature or god or whatever and here he is flaunting it to every available media resource. why not just adopt? instead this poor child will someday discover its a product of paid for sperm and a person who never wanted to be female/ become pregnant or give birth. its all so wrong!

and to miss sarah i suggest you at least do a bit of research to give you a back up to what your talking about so strongly as your clearly clueless and influenced in your opinions, i agree everyones entitled to their own but at least have an educated argument along lines of truth and fact, as it is just hormonal treatment so there is no internal distortion.... and the fact he has gone through all that and then give it all up even temperarily to have their baby, only shows just how much that baby is wanted and therefor will be dearly loved, we cant ask for much more than that in life!!!and at least the baby wil be brought up by strong minded and very brave individuals that no matter what are determined to live happy how they wish and are not 'sheep' following the crowd and trends and have no real opinion true to their beliefs but only those that 'fit in' with other peoples, which is quite sad really!!!
