RE: 'Being £1m in debt gave me a thrill'
Wow - what an incredible story - if this lady was honest she could have done well. The credit card companies are partly at fault for allowing such excess. She obviously has serious mental problems.
On another point serving only 16 weeks on a 15-month sentence is pathetic

RE: 'Being £1m in debt gave me a thrill'
I'm sorry but this story makes me sick to the stomach. There are people out there struggling to pay their bills and buy food, yet they would do it legally rather than commit fraud.
I hate the fact that she had BMW's, 10 houses and all she did was sit on her a** and claim benefits as well!
As I write this I am sat at my desk at work, which I do full time, so I'm paying my taxes for her!
Bloody wonderful country we live in!

Kind of makes you wonder why most of us bother with the 9-5 daily grind, 16 weeks, and the saying crime doesn't pay is seriously old hat !!!

RE: 'Being £1m in debt gave me a thrill'
What a crazy way to live...bouncing from one debt to another! She must have been on tenterhooks all the time..worried that she was going to get found out!
On another note..it makes me laugh that people comment on how hard they work whilst this woman claims benefits..and yet they're obviously sat at their desk reading all the stories on the Closer website. Sounds like gruelling work to me (I'd like to point out it's my day off so I have an excuse!) I agree it's disgusting that she is claiming benefits whilst raking in money left right and centre from properties etc. while the rest of us work long hours, in some cases for less money, but it made me giggle all the same that people complain about working hard whilst browsing the internet!

RE: 'Being £1m in debt gave me a thrill'
i think the story itself is incredible but sad -in truth she was running away frn her past of being poor
YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT TOO HER she was living the life that most us would love to
but she was wrong and is now seen as a liar and fraudster
i hope she learnt her lesson

the banks are partly to blame for this because the fact she had 50 cards is saying something how the hell did she get away with it. this is jokes!

RE: 'Being £1m in debt gave me a thrill'
There is nothing wrong of dreaming of a better life, but I feel in the case this person they went about it in extremely the wrong way. It just proves that kids of school leaving age need to be shown how to look after their finances properly for the future, and how to take responsibility for their actions.
Zara Gables should have served a minimum of 5 years for what she did, as it is quite evident she is not remorseful. Also further to that all her future financial affairs should be closely monitored by the appropriate authorities, and Zara should never be allowed to own a credit card ever again!

RE: 'Being £1m in debt gave me a thrill'
If she had applied herself to a career with the tenacity that she did to obtaining credit she'd have become quite a wealthy woman. As she had an income she was not entitled to claim benefits as she believes she was. The banks are to blame for giving her access to these funds though. Other than the benefit fraud everything else she did was just basically working what is a flawed system. However I don't think she has learnt her lesson and surely she should have been forced to undertake some sort of counselling upon release from prison as it will not be long before she finds herself in trouble again otherwise.

Am I missing something??? From what I read above Mrs Ward seems to sound quite sensible...
This Zara Pig Face thing is a fraud & should never be given credit again! WTF should we all pay for her to get her weird kicks out of cheating, lying & frauding her way through life??

RE: 'Being £1m in debt gave me a thrill'
I cant believe the outrageous comments and insults people have posted on this site. "Zara Pig Face" etc, look at yourselves before you slaughter someone else. She didnt kill anyone or hurt anyone, yes she done wrong and she paid the price by going to prison, and having to leave her daughter. dont judge her unless you are sure you are living a perfect life.

RE: 'Being £1m in debt gave me a thrill'
aaa...
What I'm not doing with my life is defrauding the Taxpayer and giving people who claim benefits legitimately a bad name. Neither have I mortgages on 10 homes totalling 1 million which I have neither the means or the intention to pay back etc etc (could go on, but it's self evident to anyone with half a brain...)
Suffice it to say "She done wrong..." (sic) as you so eloquently point out!
This is an opinion site & (yet again!) if you want to sell your story to a magazine then take the comments on the chin(s) - She does look like a piggy wig!

RE: 'Being £1m in debt gave me a thrill'
i think you eat a dictionary this morning for your breckfast didnt you. like you say this is a opinion site not a name calling site how you would like people calling you on the internet preacher?????. so what your not doing what she does thats because your not clever enough to get away with it . So whats your point this is a story about someone else so why get so wrapped up in it why take it so personally??? your not the only person who works you know but reading in to that you obviously thinnk you are. sdfsdf i agree with you before you start with other people you should take a look at your self. yeah what shes done is wrong but why get so caught up in it.

Ok - Just for you Ribby Rach - Once again, I am sdfsdf (clue, the name appears above the comment) So I guess that you're not agreeing with me you seem to be agreeing with aaa...!!!??? - Oh Dear, What a shame!
I didn't eat a dictionary for my 'breckfast' (sic) I just have a better command of the English Language than you - that education word...
As for your ludicrous comment that I am not cheating the system because I'm not clever enough to get away with it! You stupid person, did she get away with it? No she went to prison didn't she???
That's probably where you met her though isn't it?
Get off your backside and go back to school & learn some common sense whilst you're at it!
AND if you want to call me a preacher then feel free - I couldn't care less what you want to call me!

RE: 'Being £1m in debt gave me a thrill'
You must be very insecure or feel inadequate about your education (or lack of it) to keep mentioning it. This site is intended for constructive remarks regarding the story not nasty personal bitchy comments. That really exposes you as a person of very low i.q. To feel the need to be so personal makes me feel that you must have further insecurities and hang ups about your own looks. Maybe visit the problem page of the magazine not real life.

sdfGet off my backside .....I have a job and have a very good education I just dont feel the need to tell people like you obviously do to make your self feel better what a shame!!!!! And no i didnt meet her through prison you silly little girl that just goes to show how immature you really are. You really do lead a gripping life dont you... always there commenting on people and their lives and being personal.. I agree with what aaa said you must visit the problem page and address your insecurities you really need to. And your pityful attempt at trying to embarrass me... clearly it didnt work infact you seriously embarrased your self and showed you are truly immature

RE: 'Being £1m in debt gave me a thrill'
why dont we just agree to dis-agree-after all our opinions are what makes us different and they wont all be the same or to Your liking but if theres one thing we all can agree on its that the lady in question perhaps got too carried away and acted in an unnaceptable manner and indeed took advantage of the privelleges that were introduced to her and if theres one thing we can all learn from this its HOW NOT TO BE

RE: 'Being £1m in debt gave me a thrill'
Yes I am sure that we can all agree that the lady did get carried away, and i am sure the majority of intelligent human beings out here will also agree that its not appropiate to be bullying a lady by calling her "piggy wiggy" or comments that she needs to be "sterilised". They are low life unintelligent comments and really just pure evil and i am sure most people will find shocking..

Zara is clearly a bt mad, but I'd definately consider 16 weeks in prison if I could have a house in Dubai, loads of BMW's a few diamonds even it was short lived. She might be smarter than we give her credit for.
