I SPENT £10,000 ON CHOCOLATE!

We’ve all wondered what we would spend a huge lump sum on and many of us would spend it on realising a dream. But what if your dream was to eat chocolate, would you spend your £10,000 inheritance on it?
Sweet toothed Mary Tetley did just that when her mother, Thelma Tetley, died four years ago and left her the windfall with a note stating, “Follow your dream!”
Mary told the Daily Mail, “I had no idea that she had left me the letter with £10,000 - it really was a complete surprise. My dad Mike, 81, didn't even know what she'd done.
“Chocolate has been my all-consuming passion for as long as I can remember - I can't get enough of the stuff”
Soon after the inheritance, Mary set off on a chocolate-fuelled adventure for three months travelling to European chocolate hotspots including Belgium, Switzerland and France spending her days devouring myriad chocolate truffles, pralines and caramels to name but a few.
“I was eating at least twelve luxury chocolates every day. I devoured every one. It was pure chocolate bliss. I loved the unusual ones like lavender creams and Marmite with chocolate. Champagne truffles and pralines are my favourites too.”
But what does Mary think her mum would say if she knew what she had spent her money on?
“Mum knew how much I adored chocolate - it was a bit of a joke between us. I think mum loved chocolate too but because she was a diabetic she couldn't eat a lot of it”.
Putting on two stone in weight wasn’t the only thing gained by Mary’s one man chocolate crusade.
On her return, she and husband Mark have opened up their own chocolate shop.
“In my mind my shop keeps mum's memory alive for my daughter, Lili, four, who was only eight months old when she died.’ Mum left me that letter telling me to live my dream and that's what I've done.’
Admittedly, we think it’s a bit nutty but who are we to argue against a chocolate campaign?!

It's your life and your money, do what you want and ENJOY! Life is too short...with what's in the news lately!

omg how the heck can you spend that kind off money on CHOCOLATE
if mary tetley was my daughter i would`nt give her that kind of money if its going to be wasted. nethertheless whatever makes you happy :) xxx
