DON'T Try To Fix Him
Jennifer Garner celebrated her seven year anniversary with husband Ben Affleck in June 2012. Her secret? "My mom gave me a good piece of advice. She said never marry a man thinking you can change him, and I think that starts from your first date when you're in the seventh grade on. Women are fixers so we have to just not fix. Don't fix."

DO Have A Laugh
Who better to take relationship advice from the loveable Hitch star, Will Smith? Smith says “Every man wants to marry his homie, a lot of women will impress them, but it’s the one they can always laugh with and be themselves with that will ultimately impress them the most. If you can be yourselves around each other, 100% of the time, and they can make your life like no one else can, you’ll never have a dull moment together.”
DON’T Think Too Much
It seems heartbreak hasn’t got the best of Mariah Carey, who is now happily settled with hubby, presenter Nick Cannon who is 11 years her junior. She says she learned to let go of the conventional ideas of the right and wrong person for you and follow your heart :
“I’ve been with someone older and that could be a disaster. [But] maybe you have to throw that side away [from you] and don’t think about it, think about who’s right for you.”

Who DO You Think You Are?
Its hard to believe that inseparable pair, Beyonce and Jay-Z spend time apart but Queen B reminds us that time alone is just as rewarding as being ‘in a relationship’: “I feel like you have to get to know yourself, know what you want, spend some time by yourself, and be proud of who you are before you can share that with someone else.”
DO Have Similarities
Kim Kardashian reveals common ground as the key to a lasting love a la Kim and Kanye. "If I have a design meeting, or he has one, we come back and talk about how our meetings went. It's cool, because you can definitely get more in-depth with someone who actually knows what you're talking about ... So that's been a fun similarity we have. I think it's essential to have similarities.
