Vile thugs cut family cat in half

Sick bullies who cut a cat in half before dumping it behind a petrol station are being hunted by police.
 
Half of Milo the cat was found in Rainworth, Nottinghamshire, by a member of the public who reported it to a veterinary surgery.
 
Milo’s owner, William McCubbin went to the vets to identify his much-loved pet. He said: ‘There was part of me that was, of course, hoping it wasn’t him-but at the same time I would not want to ever wish this on anyone else’.
 
Staff at the veterinary surgery believes the horrific injuries could not have been caused by a vehicle or animal attack.
 
The RSPCA are appealing for any information which might help them work out what happened.
 
Mr McCubbin added Milo had never strayed far from his home until he went missing on December 16; ‘We are absolutely devastated by what has happened, and we now just want to warn people about this, and of course hope that we can find whoever is responsible.’
 
RSPCA inspector Keith Ellis, who is investigating the cat's death, said: 'At this stage we have no idea what or who is responsible for these injuries and we do not know if it was deliberate. We are appealing to anyone who may have any information about this incident.’

I really hope this was caused by a car accident, because at least then it would have been quick, and the poor little cat wouldn't have known much about it. If on the other hand some piece of scum did this to him out of sheer malice, then it's totally sickening. I just hope they find who is responsible for this to give them some piece of mind. rip Milo xx

If this wasn't a car accident then there is some real evil walking around the streets. I hope whoever done this is caught before they hurt another animal. n.s you are a 100% correct, nothing but scum and there is no punishment big enough for such people.

i have cats my self n nt no watt i would think if that ever happand to me i hope who ever does this gets caught and punnished poor cat . rip milo x

i have cats aswell and i would hate it if this happend to my cats and i hope you find the vile, sickening, desastorous, freaks who did this. rip milo xxxxxxxxxx
