Distraught Abbey flees the country

Heartbroken model Abbey Clancy has jetted out to Majorca after telling cheating fiancé Peter Crouch: “I can’t stand to be near you.”

The tall twosome’s relationship has been rocked by teenage Algerian prostitute Monica Mint’s allegations that she performed a sex act on Crouch in a taxi and slept with him at a hotel.

Following these revelations, hurt WAG Abbey cancelled a commitment to appear as a fashion guru on ITV1’s This Morning yesterday.

And after making a number of emotional phone calls to her mum in Spain, the 24-year-old decided to fly out there to clear her head.

The Sun quotes her as having told Pete: “I can’t stand to be near you.

“Everytime I see you it reminds me what you’ve done. I need to get away and clear my head.”

Yesterday, we reported that Abbey had confided her sorrows in long-suffering footie WAG Toni Terry whose world was turned upside down earlier this year after claims that her hubby John Terry had cheated on her.

According to The Mirror, Toni told Abbey to give Pete a second chance, insisting, “everyone makes mistakes”.

In their heart-to-heart, a friend of both WAGs says: “Toni and John have certainly had their own ups and downs.

“But Toni told Abbey that all people make mistakes and that people deserve to be given a second chance.

“She thinks that, once Abbey has calmed down, she should think about staying with Peter  but only on her own terms.”

Meanwhile, Pete, 29, and Abbey have reportedly been talking at length about his alleged liaison.

Abbey’s spokesperson has not been answering phone calls.

Toni Terry is such a mug, and is now encouraging Abbey to be a mug too.....hes cheated..with a prostitute....I mean come on girl. Have some pride......
but like Victoria Beckham and Toni Terry she will let these incidents go unpassed because she has become used to a certain lifestyle I would imagine.....
I know they love their man, and its not easy to leave someone you love...but.....really....

It must be awful for your partner to cheat on you, especially
with a prostitue! and to have every detail plastered all over the papers, but at least she is in the position to jet off somewhere nice and get away from it. A lot of women go through this everday, but they just have to get on with it, looking after kids, going to work, trying to put on a brave face. Not to mention the fact panicing about how they are going to keep a roof over their families heads if they do split up. These are the women I really feel sorry for.

awwww i really do feel sorry for abbey!!

i sometimes take my hat off to anybody, celeb or not, in how they cope with this, just the actual thought of my own man doin this to me, absolutely sickens me to my stomach!! I just dunno how on earth i could cope, I would be the same as abbey i think, not be able to even look at him without a constant reminder of what he had done

i just dont understand why people just cant be happy with they have, why do people feel the need to want their cake and eat it....if you have made a commitment to one person then why is so hard to keep to it, if you want to sleep with randoms and go with who you want when you wants its plain and simple - DONT COMMIT YOURSELF ELSEWHERE!!

haha....... i had fled the country, but unfortunately had to come home again :o( :o( .......been away hols to bulgaria, but thanks for noticing my absence n.s. ;o) ;o)

Miss Celtic The problem is it's women who are the nesters, the family makers, the committed ones, men don't see sex as a lack of commitment to their wives since they just consider it sex not love!! In the end some women can cope with keeping a marriage or relationship going, in some cases it makes their marriage stronger if they can overcome an affair.
You're definitely right though, if men don't want to be committed to one person then they shouldn't marry, have kids and destroy a family with an affair!!
Although I'm in no way an Abbey fan you have to pity her right now, since the 19 year old is a prostitute both Crouch and Abbey (if they've had sex since) should get STI tests for everything done hm?! Better to be safe than sorry, especially in this day and age hm?!

Thanks very much n.s. we had an absolute ball.....just the worst part of a holiday is, unfortunately you need to come home to reality and normal things like house work, cooking, going to work etc :o( :o( lol

Emerald I do get what your saying, but I know in my own heart I couldnt EVER overcome something like this!! Tryin to understand why my man would prefer some foreign dirty prostitute over me, that poor girl and it dont matter how men look at it e.g. lack of commitment or whatever, cos yip unfortunately SOME men are like that, but not all, as men could just as easily say the same about women, as there are women out there who do the cheating at the end of the day its just wrong and if you love someone enough you just wouldnt want to hurt them so bad :o( :o( i couldnt live with myself if i ever hurt my fiance that much
