Alicia Keys gives birth to a baby boy

Alicia Keys and husband Swizz Beats have welcomed into the world their first child, a baby boy unusually named Egypt Daoud Dean.
Alicia gave birth on Thursday night in her home city, New York. On Friday Beatz tweeted about their bundle of joy, saying: “I'm so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwwww!” Ahh, how sweet!
Beatz, real name Kasseem Dean, has three children from a previous relationship, but for Alicia this is her first.
Alicia also posted coments about the joy of having a new born, saying: “There is no word to properly describe LOVE, to describe BLISS, to a express a FEELING like this!!!”
Pal, Mary J Blige, offered her congratulations via Twitter, saying: “I'm So excited 2 Congratulate my brother @ therealswizzz and @Alicia keys on their New, baby, boy!!!!!!!”
Keys, 29, and Beatz, 32, who have been together since 2008, tied the knot in a private ceremony in July in the Mediterranean.
Alicia is said to have had a smooth sailing pregnancy.
