Alex Reid has attempted to win back the heart of his estranged fiancé Chantelle Houghton in a public video pleading for her forgiveness.
The 37-year-old cage fighter went to extreme lengths this week, issuing an online video plea for the mother of his daughter to take him back, following their split two weeks ago.
The video – which was posted on a magazine’s website – is just over a minute long and sees Alex make an impassioned plea for them to sort out their differences while acknowledging their problems.
He says: ‘'Chantelle, I love you, I really love Dolly and I really want us to work. But things really have to change.
There's been so many untruths said, and I feel if I don't say something, it's going to get worse and worse.Things have to change.'
‘You can't keep venting your anger to me in your column. Every couple argues but you don't need to tell the world our problems'.
'I know you love me. I hope you love me. Let's sort this out.'

Chantelle and Alex in happier times
The plea came after Chantelle, 29, admitted to a UK tabloid that she was struggling with the split.
"It’s still very raw and I am really, really upset,” she said,
"I tried everything in my power to make my relationship work.
"I have been trying to keep myself busy with Dolly – after all, she is the most important one in all of this."
The former Celebrity Big Brother star, who gave birth to daughter Dolly three months ago, announced on Twitter earlier this month that she ended her relationship to Alex after she called the police on him when he allegedly kicked down the door to their Essex house in the early hours of the morning. He was later released without charge.
