Alex Reid wants to make peace with Pete

As his girlfriend Jordan leaves the country, Alex Reid has extended an olive branch to her ex-husband Peter Andre – via the press, of course.

The 34-year-old cage fighter has said that he hoped the two could get along in the future after he heard that Peter had suffered a panic attack upon seeing him with his children.

He said in an interview: ‘I can totally understand. I’d love to clear the air [with Pete].’

He added that he thought the pair should get along, alluding to the fact that he was hoping to spend more time with Junior, Harvey and Princess Tiaamii.

“I don't want to be best friends or anything, but as I plan on being around a lot longer, it'd be nice if he could accept that as a responsible adult."

Alex also spoke out about the incident where Junior mistakenly called him ‘Daddy’.

“With the kids, what am I meant to do? Be horrible to them? Surely that would be a lot worse!" he said.

Meanwhile, Jordan was spotted jetting off to Australia yesterday, as she is starring in the latest series of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

The glamour model is reportedly receiving three times her fee from five years ago (where she met Pete), with her paycheck coming in at £350,000.

Harvey was in hospital a few days ago! She should be worried about her three little ones and not about her image! Selfish ugly cow!

She shouldnt be jetting off to Australia when Harvey isnt well, what if something bad happened to him, she isnt just round the corner that she can pop back and see him.

What exactly is she going to do on Celeb??? Is she going to be a contestant? a Presenter? or just hang around with her tits out making a bloody idiot of herself?
Why can't she just stay with her kids and look after them for a while? Not saying she shouldn't have a career in the future but surely they should be her first priority at the moment!
I quite like Celeb - not sure for how much longer...

sdfsdf Apparently she's competing against the likes of Pamela Anderson, so the printout says, in the jungle lol!! Talk about bitchfight, or perhaps they'll just bore us with tales of their plastic surgery and breast implant horrors lol!! Must have been a man who made the selection, perhaps they're thinking of a porn spin off lol!!
I agree with everyone who says right now instead of being in the jungle she needs to be home spending at least an hour a day with her kids!! Alex's little jab that he's going to be around for a long time so Pete should be a responsible adult is insulting - hey Pete, he wants you to be an understanding adult about his relationship with Jordan, file for full custody so she and the bonk toy can enjoy their kinky sex life without inflicting their sentiments on the kids!! I wouldn't want him anywhere near my kids EVER at anytime the sicko!!
Just think a whole 3 weeks when Alex might not be in the news with Jordan, now everybody take a long happy sigh of contentment lol!!

sdfsdf & alib01 Yeah, it's a pity she couldn't disappear off the face of the earth, we can but dream lol!! Looks like Pammie's not in the jungle after all but Sam Fox is!!
See today that Alex might be getting his own reality show?!!! The only reason anyone gives a toss what he does is because of Jordan so will she be appearing too? Be boring otherwise lol!!! Personally, the demented idiot that offered him a reality show should pay us part of out t.v licence to put up with the crap viewing these days - jeez, the day i watch that one I'll be sitting at satan's side with a red hot three pronged fork waiting for his sorry ass to turn up lol!!!
