Amanda Holden announces she is pregnant again!

Amanda Holden has announced on Twitter and her official website that she is 3 months pregnant with a baby girl!
40-year-old Amanda tweeted just moments ago: “Lexi's question of the day (and most days) "Mama when are you going to get a baby in your tummy?" Happy to say TODAY Lexi! Mama is pregnant! Yay”
The star already has 5-year-old daughter Lexi with husband Chris Hughes but tragedy struck earlier in the year when the ex-Britain’s Got Talent judge suffered a traumatic miscarriage when 7 months pregnant with a little boy. Doctors could not explain the tragic loss as the child seemed perfectly healthy, but Amanda and Chris were determined to start trying again for another child as soon as possible and not letting the horrific ordeal stop them.
After the terrible news that her longed-for baby boy had died just two months before the due date, Amanda said that the experience was: “without a doubt the blackest period of my life”.
This time the star had happy news to share with her fans. She posted on her website: “I do ask you bear with me as I will be putting myself and this pregnancy first. I have taken medical advice and although I am a strong girl and this is ‘once again’ a good healthy pregnancy I will absolutely not be taking any risks. Your on going support for us this year has been so touching. We are enormously grateful. Thank you so much for your understanding. Amanda xxxxxx”
Amanda is currently performing as Princess Fiona in the West End production of Shrek the Musical, but has written on her official website that she will have to leave the show eight weeks early under health fears for the baby following the unexplained miscarriage. Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh will take over as Princess Fiona from October 5th.
