Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse's flat is robbed

Thursday 11 August 2011

Amy Winehouse’s flat is reported to have been robbed just days after her tragic death.

The theif responsible is said to have taken lyric books and guitar and lyrics for Amy’s unreleased album which would have been her third.

Only friends, family and security guards of the singing superstar have had access to her house in Camden since her death just over 2 weeks ago.

Meaning it appears to have been someone Amy knew who committed the crime, only adding to the family’s sadness over the whole ordeal.

An insider told The Sun: "Mitch(Amy’s dad) is livid. The family, record label and management are months away from deciding what to do with any unreleased music. For that to be taken out of their hands is horrible.’’

The star’s nearest and dearest are said to have decided to release Amy’s third unfinished album and profits made are planned to be donated to the soon to be Amy Winehouse Foundation.

The same insider also said how the family are coping with this shocking occurrence:

"This is such a sickening shock to the family. That someone would stoop so low. They can't get their heads around it.’’

However Amy’s dad is staying calm and hoping that things will be put right: “Mitch is willing to give whoever has stolen the items a chance to do the right thing and put them back so it doesn't have to get messy."

We just hope whoever it is sees the distress they have caused and sorts it out.
