Angelina Jolie 'furious' with Brad Pitt's mum after she buys 'girly' clothes for Shiloh

Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie is said to be livid with her future mother-in-law, Jane Pitt, after she bought girly outfits for her notoriously tomboyish daughter and has apparently deemed her actions ‘disrespectful’.
Jane purchased a number of feminine outfits for her granddaughter despite knowing that she and her five siblings are allowed to choose their own clothes, with Shiloh opting to dress like her brothers.
A source told a British newspaper: “It's well documented that Shiloh likes to dress like a boy.
“But Jane still insists on buying her fairy costumes and princess dresses, which Angelina finds very disrespectful.”
This is not the first time this year that the mother-of-six has disagreed and been left fuming by Mrs Pitt.
Brad’s mother sparked a lot of controversy when she wrote to a local newspaper in the United States urging Americans to vote against President Obama in the upcoming elections because of his backing of gay marriage.
Instead she tried to sway people to vote for Republican candidate Mitt Romney, writing: “Any Christian should spend much time in prayer before refusing to vote for a family man with high morals, business experience, who is against abortion, and shares Christian conviction concerning homosexuality just because he is a Mormon.”
Both Angelina and Brad, who are well-known for their support of gay marriage and President Obama, were said to be sickened by Mrs Pitt’s letter.
A source said: “Brad and Angelina were devastated by Jane's actions. They have worked hard campaigning for equality, working closely with Barack Obama.
“Angelina called Jane and told her she believes she's setting a bad example for the kids.”
Brad once said of his mother’s frank attitudes: “She’s very loving, very open, genuine, and it’s hilarious because she always gets painted as a she-devil.”
