Beyonce could be about to join the likes of Justin Bieber and Katy Perry, by starring in a fly-on-the wall documentary about her life and career.
To add to her endless list of talents, the 30-year-old Crazy in Love singer will also be directing and producing the film – which will include concert footage, backstage scenes and interviews with her and her loved ones.
For now, the film is just a proposal, but the R&B superstar has been busy with her agency presenting 20 minutes of unprecedented access to her life to different Hollywood studio, in a bid to find the right distributor.
If finalised, the documentary will focus on the release of her 2011 album, 4, as well as her marriage to rap mogul Jay-Z and the birth of the couple's daughter Blue Ivy in January 2012.
Beyoncé has had experience of directing in the past thanks to her MTV mini-documentary Beyoncé: Year of 4, in 2010, which showed her in the studio working on new tracks.
She teased fans on her website in July, with a cryptic message 'Leave Your Footprint on 19 August 2012, which could be linked to the documentary.
Acting comes almost as naturally to Beyoncé as singing, and has had numerous movieroles, including major parts in Austin Powers in Goldmember, Dreamgirls andCadillac Records among others.
In her line of potential projects, the singer will voice Queen Tara in the upcoming 3D animated movie, Epic, and is also attached to Clint Eastwood's proposed remake of A Star Is Born.
