Big Brother to make a comeback?

So it appears we haven’t had enough of the Big Brother franchise just yet! A formal announcement is said to be coming tomorrow revealing that Channel 5 plan to run a Celebrity Big Brother for 4 weeks in August.
Negotiations have been going on between Channel 5 and makers Edemol since last summer after the show came to a halt. According to the Daily mail it’s thought a 5 year deal will later be announced, with troubled Actor Charlie Sheen said to be at the top of Celebrity wish list.
However, this would mean that Big Brother winner Josie Gibson would not be the final winner of the show.
It seems the changes planned to be made will be airing the show in August rather than May. But other than that, expect the traditional 13 week run and a 4 week Celebrity Big Brother. The station plan to air the Celebrity show in August this year, immediately followed by a 13 week run in September - with the usual crazy bunch of housemates. After that, the station plan for Big Brother to return to a traditional schedule.
Who will attempt to fill Davina’s black stiletto heals? The Daily Express reveal Mylene Klass, Cheryl Cole and Emma Willis are all in the running to become the shows main host. With former Big Brother double-winner Brian Dowling a favourite to host the spin off Little Brother's Big Brother.
Last years series brought in a rating hit on Channel 4. In just 1 year 60,000 BB lovers joined a campaign to bring back BB on Facebook.
Rumour has it; this year there will be a chance to win a golden ticket into the ‘regular’ Big Brother house. And, instead of depriving the stars from their lavish lifestyle, the new house will be a ‘world of playfulness’ according to the Daily Express.
Will we be expecting to see the traditional fame obsessed housemates or something fresh from the show?

I think the only person who could possibly fill Davina's shoes is Emma. Myleene Class is too girly and proper. I mean imagine her trying to discuss the ..... wine bottle in the garden incident ... or the .... porking in the pool incident! Emma is more down to earth and tom boyish just like Davina. Can't see Cheryl Cole fitting into the role either ... i have a feeling that she would believe herself to be too good for such a show, though if her plans to conquer the usa are scuppered then it might be all that's left for her to do. I would be glad to see big brother come back coz its so funny. pity davina isn't coming back with it though!

yes! Caroline Flack is also a very good choice! She seems the type of girl who'd definitely give a good commentary on anything risque!
