Cat Deeley marries Patrick Kielty in surprise ceremony
Monday 01 October 2012
It was a weekend of celebrity weddings, with Anne Hathaway and Holly Valance both tying the knot, but it was Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty’s nuptials that came as the biggest surprise.

The couple – who denied rumours of an engagement a month ago - tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Rome in front of a small group of family and friends.
The couple first went public with their relationship in May this year though they have managed to keep their blossoming romance out of the public eye.
However Patrick, 41, made it known that marriage was on his mind last year, saying ‘I think that might be my New Year’s resolution… to get married’.
A wedding photo shows the couple enjoying a celebratory drink at their wedding reception. The pair have been friends since they hosted one of the original TV talent shows, Fame Academy, together from 2002.
Anne Hathaway, 29, also exchanged vows with her actor boyfriend Adam Shulman this weekend in a ceremony in Big Sur, California.

The pair – who have been engaged for a year – are said to have hired Natalie Portman’s wedding planner to help them with their nuptials, which took place in front of over 100 guests.
The Dark Knight Rises star wore a vintage-inspired gown designed by Valentino while Adam wore a dapper tuxedo.
It was reported that the wedding would be a traditional Jewish ceremony.
Anne had originally claimed the wedding would not take place until 2013 because of her work commitments.
Earlier this year she told a US magazine: 'We're getting married, probably sometime next year-ish. Not this year, it’s too big with two films coming out.’
Holly Valance also walked down the aisle in California, as she wed her billionaire fiancé, Nick Candy in a lavish ceremony.

The 29-year-old former Neighbours star wore an extravagant gown by J’Aton Couture complete with floor length veil. Nick, 39, wore a Dolce and Gabbana tuxedo as 300 guests – including Simon Cowell – watched them exchange vows.
It has been reported that the duo would be stretching their nuptials over three days, including a ‘recovery’ barbecue on the Sunday.
Nick popped the question to his girlfriend of two years in December when the pair were holidaying together in the Maldives for Christmas.
The couple started dating in late 2009 after meeting at a mutual friend's dinner party.
