Cher Lloyd backtracks from Cheryl comments

Swagger Jagger singer Cher Lloyd seems to have admitted her mistakes in previous comments about her former X-Factor mentor and ‘friend’ Cheryl Cole.
Although the 18-year-old had blasted Cheryl in a recent interview by claiming that she could not sing live without the help of auto-tuning, she seems to have backtracked and confessed that her career is indeed down to Cheryl's belief in her.
In an interview on This Morning, she said that her original comment was 'taken out of context' and that she was 'grateful to her.'
The singer said: ‘I wouldn’t say that I wasn’t grateful for what she had given me – the opportunity that she had given me, putting me through and things like that – but I feel like from here, it’s down to me to do as best as I possibly can.’
She continued: 'I do owe her, but how I see it is the X Factor was a great platform for me and she really did help me and I'm very grateful.
After admitting she put her ‘foot in it’ on the ITV1 breakfast show and in attempts to stray away from the Cheryl saga, Cher shows she wants to fulfil her own achievements within her career and she realises her mistakes made.
Cyber bullying is one of the obstacles the young star has learnt to deal with in her step to fame and although she appreciates opinions on her music she feels comments on her appearance ‘tip her over’.
‘I love for people to have an opinion on my music because that’s definitely what it should be about.’
'If you don't like my song or you feel that it's not right for me, if you send me a tweet or whatever and you say, "I don't really like that one, I liked your one before," I'm fine with it, I love that constructive criticism.
