Cher Lloyd is a bully says Mary Byrne

Wannabe rap star Cher Lloyd has been accused of bullying in the X-Factor mansion by Mary Byrne. Cher allegedly made fat jibes to Mary throughout her time on the show and pushed her to the edge on more than one occasion.

The Tesco checkout favourite even had to leave the house when it all got too much. It has been revealed that mentor Louis Walsh put Mary up in London’s Mayfair Hotel on many occasion as the bullying began to escalate.

Talking to the Metro, Mary claims Cher was insecure about her slight frame and would go into rages when anyone commented on it, often taking it out on Mary by calling her fat.

“People were talking about her thinness and she started talking about fat people. And you know, I’m a big woman, which she got quite abrupt about, so I said to her, ‘You know every one of us has something wrong with us, there’s none of us perfect, and you can’t keep putting people down because you feel low. That’s bullying.’”

Although Mary claims Cher has apologised and has calmed down significantly since the show ended, is that any excuse? Cher is supposedly in talks with record producers in the states and is set to sign a record deal, is this any way to act as a role model. Cheryl seemed to take Cher under her wing whilst she is on the show, maybe now she should teach the teenager how to act like a grown woman rather than a bratty, bullying child.
