cheryl cole was married to ashley cole who is mixed race, she put through alexander burke a couple of years ago who is black, she is great friends with william who is black!! i really dont think shes racist!

Anyway if any ones racist its Danni out of eight contestants not one token black one was put through its not as if they didn't have talent which miss minogue was too toned deaf to recognise. Xfactor needs to reacess who they have judging talent , youv'e got to at least have a smidgen of it before you can comment on others, which Danni is so obvious lacking in.

why does there need to be a "token" black person anyway? its about talent not skin colour! the judges shouldnt be made to feel that they have to put a black person through for fear of being racist! there were hardly any girls in the live stages of last years x factor does that mean there sexist as well?
alsosimon and louis dont sing or have talent but no-one complains about them judging!

I was shocked when Cheryl sent Gamu home however I dont think she is racist, if she is she must be good at it. Katie should be sent home instead, Gamu should be BROUGHT BACK IN BECAUSE SHE IS BETTER AND ALSO DESERVES IT. I like Cher, she is truly talented although having said that every contestant should have been judge based on sunday's performance. I for one was absolutely shocked when i watched it this weekend!! Gamu was one of the best in the category as far as im concerned. Katie was rubbish and a drama queen and Cher i liked at the beginning but if she cant perform one song that she has had time to practise whats the point!! Im fed up of contestants not performing then crying or saying they are ill, in the real music industry no matter what you have to perform otherwise you wont get anywhere. It seems to me the judges are more interested in winning the competition than about the contestants of the show! Cheryl had alot of strong girls and she choose two of the weakest. I absolutely believe she is racist that maybe come from her background and just because she married a "black man" doesnt mean ANYTHING! Her and Ashley actually got together when she was being called racist and he was labelled gay, coincidence?...i doubt it, seems like perfect timing to me! I agree they need to get proper judges on the show, one's that can actually recognise talent would help! No one is saying there has to be a black person all im saying is that the good singers should get through and this year they didnt! And sugar sweet i always read ur comments and usually agree but Simon is one of the biggest names in music and is a manager and louis has managed boy bands for years who has been very successful i would hardly call them talentless..

I know Cheryl had issues with a black toilet attendent a few years ago but she was married to black man & her aid on the show this year was a black man & she also took Alexander Burke, a black girl to the final a few years ago...
I think its rediculous to suggest her decision was based on race... Maybe she didnt like Gamu's voice or there was issues with her visa which is beyond Cheryls control.... She put Rebecca through who appears to be mixed race... (& my favourite by the way)

Gamu was very irritating. Her voice was ok-ish but nothing remarkable. I know the other two girls were a bit odd BUT they really do have unusual and compelling voices. Sure, they're irritating too but in a much more 'watchable' way. Gamu will just have to get over it (and herself)...she looked more surprised than devastated when she got booted off.

What a load of rubbish. There was no racism. I too was surprised that Gamu didn't go through but I didn't think that she was the best person there. I was absolutely amazed that Katie got through she certainly didn't deserve to but as some of the others have said it's not all about singing and she is certainly quirky.
Regarding Cher I think people have overlooked the fact that the reason she didn't finish her audition at the judges house was that she had tonsillitis and was having trouble speaking properly let alone trying to sing her best. I don't think she bottled it I think she was feeling like crap, her throat hurt when she swallowed and spoke and she was feeling totally devastated that she would not be able to perform her best when she knew how much was riding on that one performance. Cut the girl some slack!
